We got tired of the same garbage; spend a fortune on fancy gear made for guys who think a tough day is losing cell service on a hiking trail, or grab something cheap that falls apart before you've worn it twice. Neither makes sense if you actually work outside. Invictus Expeditions Co. builds outdoor gear for people who show up no matter what. Tradesmen, outdoor workers, and anyone who doesn't get to check the weather before they head out. Functional, durable, and priced without the markup. Gear that works as hard as you do. Stay unconquered. Stay unconquered.

I did in fact get duped.

They sent me the wrong jacket. I contacted support, they were very responsive and got back to me within minutes of contacting them. We had about 6 emails back and forth, they confirmed my address and promised to send me the correct jacket and told me to keep the old one - I agreed and waited. They even went as far as promising to outfit my local volunteer SAR organization with gear. I never received a replacement, nor any further responses back from their support email. I see now their website is down. My assumption is that it's 1 of those pop-up online shops, sell as much generic product as possible then shut it down and move on to the next store. The jacket they sent me was actually the exact same jacket that canex sells in Canada called Conceal Tactical Softshell Jacket. Only difference is the one from canex has more features.

Not a terrible jacket. Just not the quality I was looking for

The jacket I ordered was by no means terrible but did not seem up to the quality I thought it would be for the price. Mainly, the fleece was thinner than I thought it would be on the inside. The hood seems uneven when you put it on. Like maybe it is sewn improperly on one side. The pockets are super shallow on the front and the sides says XXL when I ordered a large. It's definitely not XXL. Fits, but that's just another quality control issue that I felt. Let me down on the overall price of the jacket. I would pay probably half of what I paid for this particular one.

I keep getting these "give us a review…

I keep getting these "give us a review give us a review" e mails. ok, you get one star because after 16 days I still haven't seen anything come to me. Maybe tie your review requests to actual delivery confirmations and you will get a better rating.

Received my Maverick jacket 1010!!

Received my Maverick jacket 1010!!!

I really like it. I am going to be ordering another one for my friend. His birthday is coming up. The nice thing is that it's actually waterproof and it's a jacket for life 100%

Fabio - totally understand the frustration. You ordered during peak holiday season when shipping carriers were slammed across the board.
Good news: I just checked and your order is out for delivery today. Should be at your door shortly.
Once it arrives, if you have any questions or issues with the jacket itself, hit us at support@invexpeditions.com. We're here.
Hope you love it.

Great potential… poor follow through.

This jacket is such a great candidate for a 5 star but until a few things are corrected, I have to rate it a 3. First off is the sizing. I am always a 2XL guy in everything I wear, with comfort. This jacket arrived as a 3X (even though I ordered a 2X, thank goodness) and is still semi-tight. I, for all intents and purposes, should have all sorts of room in this jacket.
My other issue is threading; there are several areas on the jacket where there are stray threads such as along the zipper, and the cuff area. One last but small issue is the hood string; this string is in a great location in the pockets however the hole it is threaded in to is too large and the string tends to pop through resulting in you having to find where it went.

Overall, and although it may not exactly sound like it, I LOVE this coat. However, until these small issues get fixed, it’s simply a 3 star for me.

Edit: Dropped the rating due to promises from customer service to send a newer model of this jacket. The small issues that were described here were apparently known issues which led to a manufacturer change. Totally fair. I was offered a new model from the new manufacturer in order to (for lack of a better term) “correct” the small issues that were identified.
Since then, I have reconfirmed the mailing address, and reached out twice to see if the offer was in transit - or at this point even still being extended. I have heard nothing and received nothing. I have hunting buddies that really like the looks of my jacket, but with the way this customer service is presently sitting - I would not suggest a purchase to them or anyone reading this - unfortunately.

Brett - really appreciate the detailed feedback.
Good news: you got one of our last jackets before we switched manufacturing partners a few weeks ago. The new production run specifically addressed the issues you mentioned - sizing consistency, thread quality, and small details like the hood string.
The current batch runs true to size and the build quality is significantly better.
That said, you shouldn’t be stuck with a jacket that doesn’t fit right. Email us at support@invexpeditions.com and we’ll get you a replacement from the new run - correct size, tighter build. On us.
Thanks for giving us a shot. We want to earn that 5-star.

Not as offered

I would like tell that the grms of fleece doesn´t match the price, and all that was offered, it´s made in china , so many others as TEMU. Good style but not for extreme cold , i tested in -10°c and felt cold even with a sweater inside. Doesn´t come at least with gift patches , just the velcro to put your own if you have any, didn´t satisfied the minor expectations.doesn´t worth the price, it´s a petty

Juan Carlos - thanks for the honest feedback.
You’re right that the Maverick is a soft shell, not a heavy insulated parka. It’s designed as a wind and water barrier with fleece lining - built for layering in serious cold, not as a standalone piece at -10°C. That’s on us if the product page didn’t make that clear enough. We’re updating it.
On the patches - we recently switched manufacturing partners and they’re not available yet, but they’re coming in the next few weeks.
If the jacket isn’t right for your conditions, shoot us an email at support@invexpeditions.com and we’ll take care of you.
Appreciate you taking the time.
