Do not sign up, waste of money. The video can’t generate what you prompt, it’s highly inaccurate and there is no support to help or guide you. Not worth it

Someone had used my credit card fraudulently to open an account with this company.
Their customer service is fantastic! Within a couple days of notifying them they had tracked down the scam and removed it.
Great company!

The platform may not have met my needs; i was just experimenting, I am an AI Creator, I create AI Assisted films, tv, media and music, but I would say Artlist has a long way to go as I have tried a lot of other platforms with brilliant prompt acceptance, ultra realistic faces, micro expressions, although I was not impressed by the interface, the customer service team was very helpful and considerate of my situation and gave me a full refund. In my opinion, if they make their interface a bit simpler, and minimalistic to use, it would help a lot, I don't know if that makes sense, but good luck to them, thanks for the help..☺️

I recently contacted Artlist.io for a payment plan around Pro Max & A.I Studio, and was given one. Service was swift, friendly and professional.

Generative AI is a blight upon real creativity. Even worse is when a website like this tries to sell it to you incomplete.

I genuinely regret purchasing this subscription. My experience with Artlist’s AI image-to-video service was one of the worst I’ve had with any online service.
The product simply didn’t perform as advertised. Time and time again I requested AI-generated videos and was given still images instead. Even when a video was generated, it ignored most of my prompts. Things like rain, lighting effects, looping animations and multiple moving elements were either missing or barely worked. The outputs were nowhere near what I was paying for, making the service effectively unusable for my project.
What made the experience even worse was the customer service. Rather than acknowledging the problems or trying to reach a fair resolution, they offered little to no meaningful support. I wasn’t demanding a full refund from the start—I even offered to accept a partial refund as a reasonable compromise given the issues I was experiencing. That was refused outright, leaving me feeling like they had no interest in helping once they had my money.
In the end, I had no choice but to raise a chargeback through my bank. After reviewing all of the evidence, the chargeback was decided in my favour, which speaks for itself.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to think twice. The product failed to deliver what was promised, and when I tried to resolve the issue reasonably, the customer support was completely unhelpful. I won’t be using Artlist again.

I had accidentally purchased the wrong subscription plan. The support team was polite, responsive, and worked with me to find a solution. They eventually switched my subscription to the correct plan and refunded the price difference, which I really appreciated.
The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was some confusion during the process, and I received mixed information about whether my request would be refunded or switched. Since I had an urgent client project, I ended up purchasing another subscription before the final resolution.
Overall, the support team handled the situation professionally, and I'm happy with the final outcome.

I wanted to use Artlist's music library and read the license they publish on their site. Before subscribing, out of caution, I emailed them: "This is what your license says — can you confirm?"
Five minutes later, a sales rep calls. Not to confirm — to tell me I'd misread it. I hadn't. He kept circling: "yes, it says that, but..." and tried to talk me into a different reading of their own published terms.
Where it landed: he wanted me to sign up for the MAX Business license, 5,000 euro upfront. Fair enough, I said — can I see the actual license before I pay that much? Answer: no. The contract gets sent after payment.
Maybe that's just an overzealous sales rep and not how Artlist actually operates. I can't know. What I do know is I asked a simple question about a public document and got a sales pitch, a denial, and a "pay first, read later" deal.
Not using Artlist. One star.

Artlist easily generates some fantastic images and videos. And that's where the easy ends. It is not intuitive or even user friendly. Like, what's the difference between a project, a folder, and a session? It's not organized. You can't find anything. You waste time looking for images you already generated, then waste money re-generating because you can't find them. I've already spent $300 and the images are worth it. But if I have to spend money to take a class, I'm cutting my losses. And customer service? Maybe the support people can tell you how to find a folder, but they can't tell you why toolkit is generating images that don't correspond to your promts.
It is so frustrating because, even though the image returned from an image generation may be beautiful, over and over, ad nauseam, the odds of you getting back WHAT YOU ASK FOR are about 10%. Therefore, you are wasting %90 percent of the credits you purchased. And the credits are not cheap.

Well, to be honest, I feel like it's a complete ripoff. You're generating five clips of a video content; that is equal to 50% off your monthly food bill. I tried it out for two hours, and their most expensive plan just ripped through the whole thing in those two hours, generating five clips, 5 seconds each. I requested a refund, but since I saved four characters for the sake of "previewing" them. Becuase of that, being refunded was out of the question. No real customer service, just an AI that replies, "Oh I'm sorry to hear that." Unless you have a free $50,000+ in your pockets then I don't suggest you try this thing out because you will not be able to create anything meaningful that goes beyond a 20-minute video generation. I paid $80 and needed to re-prompt (because it made mistakes), and that eventually generated one meaningful (low satisfaction) scene of 5 seconds. That's why I'm putting it into perspective for you so you understand what you're getting yourself into. There is no money back for you if you go into this thing with high optimism. Unless you're looking to generate one 30-second clip then I at least suggest that you have around $50,000 if you want to create something that is beyond 30 minutes or even 20. That's how ridiculous it is.

Great software and excellent customer support. I had inadvertently put the wrong link in my clearlist so got a copyright alert. They identified the error and corrected it. Totally on it and very professional. Thanks so much :)

So far, Artlist has been amazing for my job and all the creative content I need to produce on a steady and regular basis. Simple to use, clear, and altough the models do have some limitations - I have local installations of models for more specific things - generally speaking, the brunt of the work for easy AI thing, can be reliably placed on Artlist AI generative tools. Now regarding the stock galleries - music, fx, and footage - SUPERB.

Personalised, fast and warm at handling my refund. It's a great combination of AI primary messaging system with a noble human back-end. Thank you kindly Artlist!

I had an issue logging into my account. I reached out via the Artlist chat option and within minutes had received an email from a team member saying they were looking into. Shortly after I received another email saying the issue was resolved and I was able to login and keep creating. I was very impressed with the speed, and hassle free handling of my issue. Thanks guys!

I had requested to cancel my subscription, and even after my transaction was declined due to a problem on my own end, Artlist still allowed me to cancel my subscription when I'm sure that other companies wouldn't. Response was prompt and pleasant. Only reason for my cancelation was that I did not use the service enough at this time to continue using it. I will be resigning up in the future when my need increases.

I started off by looking for the right theme music to go with a short video I was making. I found it right away, but then I ran into problems. I needed to reinstate my membership, but the site would not accept my APO US address--frustrating. I reached out to their help and they responded shortly after with some ideas--they didn't work. When I told them, they kept at it and came up with some additional great ideas and they worked! I got my music. Everything has it's challenges, but having such a response staff who kept at solving the problem made the issue go away. Couldn't be happier!

Do not try this company. I requested refund the same day I signed up but because they generated a 5 second video they refused the refund!!! So the 14 day policy is a joke. They know you cannot try anything out on their free model. Stay away.
