AI 3D Modelling, Scanning and Asset Tools

Three main approaches appear here. Generative tools build a model from a text prompt or a few images. Scanning tools reconstruct a real object or space from photos or video, including photogrammetry and newer splat-based methods. Pipeline tools handle the stages around a model that already exists, such as texturing and material generation, retopology, rigging and animation, or displaying the result in a web viewer or product configurator.

Output quality has to be judged against your use. Generated geometry is frequently good enough for background props, concept work, visualisation or a web viewer, and frequently not good enough for anything that must deform and animate cleanly, where topology and edge flow decide whether an artist can work with it at all.

So check the export formats and what actually arrives in them, including whether you get UVs, PBR material maps and a sensible scale. Confirm the tool fits your pipeline rather than replacing it, and read the licensing if the assets will ship in a commercial game, product page or client render.
