Pak-ISI's 'Bleed India' Plan Thwarted; How Shahzad Bhatti Weaponised Insta, FB For India Terror Ops

A poster for a few thousand rupees. Then reconnaissance. Then weapons. Then potentially a terror attack. Indian investigators say this was the disturbing ladder used by the alleged Shahzad Bhatti Network to transform ordinary criminals and vulnerable young men into potential terror operatives. Authorities report 253 arrests across 14 states in a coordinated crackdown before Independence Day. NIA had already linked Pakistan-based Bhatti to the March 2025 grenade attack on influencer Roger Sandhu’s residence, the November 2025 Sirsa police-station attack and the January 2026 Ambala blast. In the Sirsa case, NIA says Indian accused were recruited through social media and encrypted communication platforms. Pakistan denies India’s allegations of ISI involvement.
