The Maharashtra assembly elections witnessed 66.05% voter participation, higher than the approximately 61% recorded in 2019. Leadership from both Mahayuti and MVA interpret this increased turnout as favourable for their respective coalitions.

The MVA coalition's arrangement allocates 102 seats to Congress, 96 to Shiv Sena (UBT), and 86 to NCP (SP). The Samajwadi Party and other smaller MVA partners are contesting two seats each.
The 2019 electoral results showed BJP securing 105 seats, undivided Shiv Sena 56, undivided NCP 54, Congress 44, independents 13, and other parties 16 seats.
In Jharkhand, the initial polling phase covered 43 of 81 assembly constituencies on November 13.
