CJP Core Committee Dispute: Two Youths On Hunger Strike In Abhijit Dipke’s Hometown Hospitalised
Two youths, Manish Brahmabhatt and Rahul Pandya, were admitted to a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after their health allegedly deteriorated during an indefinite hunger strike against the core committee announced by the Cockroach Janta Party on August 6. The protesters accused the party leadership of favouritism and alleged that grassroots members were excluded from the newly formed committee. Brahmabhatt alleged that police forcibly shifted them to hospital but said the protest would continue. Following their hospitalisation, two new volunteers took their place at the protest site and announced they would continue the hunger strike against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke. The protesters said they had supported Dipke during the Jantar Mantar agitation but alleged that only those close to him were invited to the core committee meeting. Dipke had not responded by Monday evening.
