'ZELENSKY'S RULE MUST END': Mass Revolt Explodes In Kyiv As Fresh Russian Strikes Rock Ukraine

Political tensions are rising in Ukraine as protesters gathered in Kyiv demanding political change, stronger checks on presidential power and greater accountability from the country’s leadership. Demonstrators accused the authorities of ignoring their demands and said recent nationwide mobilisation failed to deliver the dialogue they expected. Protesters called for a stronger separation of powers, a more active parliament, ministerial accountability and elections. The demonstrations come after weeks of nationwide protests following the dismissal of former Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Fedorov later demanded elections and accused the government of corruption, while rejecting President Volodymyr Zelensky’s offer of a new government position.
