Irish fashion designer Martha Nolan-O'Slatarra was found dead aboard a yacht at the Montauk Yacht Club in the Hamptons in August 2025. Nearly a year later, her family has filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against yacht owner Christopher Durnan, bringing renewed attention to her final hours. Witnesses reportedly heard screams from the docks, while her attorney claims EMT reports showed blood on her mouth, head and chest. Durnan's attorney has disputed the family's account, saying he believed Nolan-O'Slatarra suffered a heart attack and attempted CPR. As competing claims emerge, questions continue over what happened aboard the yacht that night and what caused the 33-year-old Irish designer's death.
