Tom Brady's 19-year-old son Jack looks so much like his dad it's almost unsettling and the future hint is bigger: "Blessed to be your dad"

Tom Brady turned 49 just three weeks ago. He spent that birthday on a yacht, surrounded by all three of his kids, watching them hand him gifts one by one. It was the kind of moment that tells you something about where his head is right now. So when his eldest son Jack turned 19 on Friday, Brady did not hold back. He went to Instagram with a carousel of photos, a string of jokes, and a line at the end that quietly said more than a birthday caption probably should.Brady's post opened with the date. "Happy 19th birthday, Jack! 🎉 , Aug 22, 2007 is a day I'll never forget," he wrote, "because that's when you showed up and stole my heart (and my sleep... and my patience... hahahaha)."He went on to call Jack kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and full of love before landing on the line that stuck with a lot of people: "I can't wait to see what's next." He plays basketball for The Newman School in Boston, where he is currently enrolled.In a video posted to the school's Instagram, Jack moves around the court with a natural ease that makes the athletic gene line feel pretty hard to argue with. He graduated from high school in the Bronx in June, posing for photos in his cap and gown with both Brady and his mother, actress Bridget Moynahan, standing on either side of him.Jack is Brady's oldest child, born from his relationship with Moynahan before Brady married Gisele Bundchen. Brady also has 16-year-old son Benjamin and 13-year-old daughter Vivian with Bundchen. All three kids were on the yacht for Brady's 49th birthday on August 3, which he marked with a photo and a joke about return on investment.Jack is not following his father into football. Basketball is his sport of choice. But the athleticism is clearly there. Brady told reporters in 2024 that parenting three kids across two relationships means constantly working to give them perspective. "There's definitely some challenges and there's a lot of blessings," he said at the time.
