Trigger Warning: This story contains sexually explicit language.
San Francisco 49ers radio host Damon Bruce recently appeared on First Things First host Nick Wright’s show, What’s Wright Show.
The host couldn’t stop gushing over Fernando Mendoza, saying he is the one who will save the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 season.
According to Bruce, even if the Raiders crumble to just two wins and six losses, they must consider trading their star defensive end,
Maxx Crosby. Because having Mendoza is like having at least seven wins in a season.
If the Heisman Trophy winner has any doubts, he can turn to NFL legend Tom Brady. Bruce believes Mendoza will be a miracle case in the league.
But that is not all Damon Bruce said. He went so far with his heaps of praise that he said, “I’m personally ready to have Fernando Mendoza’s baby if he asked me to have it.”
Damon Bruce says he could have Fernando Mendoza’s baby if the Las Vegas Raiders QB asked him to
“I’m personally ready to have Fernando Mendoza’s baby if he asked me to have it. Like, I love the guy. They should expect nothing short of miracles,” Bruce told Nick Wright on What’s Wright Show.
“He’s already done the football equivalent of walking on water.
Heisman, undefeated national title. And if you can win at Indiana, you might even be able to be the guy who can turn the [Las Vegas] Raiders around.
He’s almost too good to be true, boy-scouty. One of the most dedicated to the craft. Never gonna go out and get in trouble on the strip. And then to have Tom Brady, consigliere of the team. He can just go to Brady with any and all concerns.”
Bruce continued, “Having said all that, the Raiders could start 2-6 and trade Maxx Crosby. It’s hard to see them at more than 7 wins in any scenario, but I think it will hopefully be a year where he proves the franchise is pointed in the right direction.”
Damon Bruce’s little wild comment takes us back to the era when sexual slip-ups have happened in the past.
NFL broadcasters and reporters have made their share of awkward sexual slipups
- Dallas Cowboys legendary quarterback Troy Aikman once said, “But this time, the Redskins put a spy on Dak Prescott. He starts to come, and then he pulls out. And then his eyes are just locked.”
- A reporter discussed Melvin Gordon, saying, “Training with your trainer on your own and on Instagram is not, you know, the same as Von Miller coming down your throat, so gotta see where he is in terms of that.”
- SportsCenter’s Steve Levy said about Maurice Hurst in 1995, “The agent claims that at the request of the team, Hurst has been playing with a bulging d*ck…disc in his neck since the start of the season.”
- Cris Collinsworth once said during a Sunday Night Football game play-by-play call, “When that guy’s coming right in your face, that’s a whole different story for the quarterback.”
- Commenting on Andrew Luck, CBS’s Solomon Wilcots said during a game, “The defense wants to come in the face of the quarterback Andrew Luck.”
- Then there was an accidental pronunciation of Michael Vick’s name by an ESPN reporter on national television:
- “The state of Virginia is going to seek to indict D*ck…Vick for dog fighting and killing dogs…” The pronunciation created an unintended sexual-sounding phrase.
- Ben Roethlisberger’s name has been hard for some to pronounce, one in particular:
- ESPN’s Chris McKendry, who once said during a live broadcast, “Ben Roethlis-c*ck-berger called it a gut check, and he’s right. I mean, everybody has Steelers atop the Power Rankings…”
- ESPN’s Matthew Berry said during a live broadcast, “Baker Mayfield, who’s one of the most accurate deep-throaters…throwers in the NFL.”
- Once, a play-by-play announcer said, “And they d*ck Wilson” for Russell Wilson. They probably meant to say “deck.”
- Legendary play-by-play announcer Al Michaels once accidentally substituted a sexual word, saying “play c*ck” while attempting to say “play clock” during a Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers Sunday night game.
