Is it free to submit an AI tool?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing, ever. Once a person has checked your submission, your tool gets its own permanent page on your launch date — in your words, labelled founder-submitted, kept out of search results, with a nofollow link to your site until an editor writes it up. You can optionally display our "Featured on TheToolsVerse" badge, which is one quick way to confirm you control the domain. You are free to add rel="nofollow" to that badge if you prefer — it still verifies your domain and your listing is unaffected either way. If you would rather not display a badge at all, email us from an address on your domain and we will verify you that way instead.
What are the requirements to get listed for free?
Free listings require a working product website with a Domain Rating (DR) of 25 or higher. Tools must be genuinely useful, safe, and relevant to our AI and productivity audience. A badge or link back is welcome but is never a condition of being listed.
Do I have to pay before you write my listing?
No. Nothing is due when you order and no payment details are taken. An editor writes your listing first and sends it to you within 48 hours — the full profile, exactly as it will publish. You read it, ask for changes if you want them, and only once you approve it do we invoice you. If you decide against it you owe nothing, we do not publish, and you keep the draft. Payment comes after the work, not before it.
How long does the review take?
You pick your own launch date on the form. We publish up to three free listings a day, so the earliest free date you can book is 60 days out (fully booked days are greyed out), and you can choose a later one to line the listing up with your own launch. Once approved, your page goes live in the first weekly update on or after that date. Fast-track and above book any date from 48 hours out. We email you the moment the page is live.
Do I get a backlink to my website?
Not on the free founder page. It links to your site with rel="nofollow" and is kept out of search results, because we publish it before an editor has reviewed the tool in depth. If an editor later writes it up as a full profile, that page links to you editorially. Paid placements and any listing we earn a commission from are marked rel="sponsored", as search engines require — we would rather be straight with you about that than quietly mislabel a link.
What's the difference between the Free and paid plans?

You book a launch date from 60 days out. No backlink to us required, and factual corrections are always free. Fast-track ($29 one-time) gets you a full, editor-written review page built to be indexed, within 48 hours on any date you book. Enhanced ($49 per month) adds a 1,000-word profile, media embeds and a place in the homepage rotation for as long as you stay — cancel any time and the listing stays live. The Launch Kit ($199 one-time) adds permanent placement in a relevant published comparison article, 60 days in the homepage rotation, and internal links where editorially relevant. Because they are paid, those placement links are marked rel="sponsored". Paid tiers buy placement and speed, never a better editorial verdict.
