At 22.99%, the share of enterprises in Sweden paying for CRM software as a cloud service was 2.0 times the EU27 average of 11.34% in 2023. That is the fourth-highest figure among the 16 countries compared here.

CRM and ERP in Sweden, against the EU27

Since 2018, when the figure stood at 17.66%, CRM adoption has risen 5.33 points, a steeper climb than the EU27 average's 4.69. Ranked on the 2018 figures it holds the same place, fourth.

ERP cloud adoption is lower, at 15.12% in 2023, 7.87 points under the CRM figure. That is 3.39 points above the EU27's 11.73% and sixth of 16, 2 places lower than on CRM. Here the figure moved against the EU27 average: it was 16.05% in 2021 and has fallen 0.93 points, while the average rose 2.08. In the CRM ranking Sweden sits between Denmark (30.42%) and Belgium (21.15%).

Vendors in our rankings headquartered in Sweden

Sweden is the headquarters given for 22 of the 2024 listings in our software rankings: 22 vendors in 19 of the 157 categories. No vendor appears in more than one. That makes it the twelfth-largest headquarters country in the dataset, behind Poland (23) and ahead of Belgium (21).

Sweden places higher on adoption than on supply: fourth of the 16 countries here by CRM cloud adoption, sixth by number of listings. No category group leads outright: Operations (7), Revenue & Growth (7), IT & Collaboration (3), Finance (2), People (2) and Vertical (1). There is none in AI software.

5 of the 22 hold a top-three place:

  • Wincher, #1 in SEO software. Pricing: Low-cost published tiers by keywords and websites, from 500 keywords and up to 10 websites on the entry plan; a 7-day free trial and no free plan.
  • Quinyx, #1 in workforce management software. Pricing: No published prices; Quinyx asks buyers to describe their needs and tailors an offer, so expect a sales process rather than a card checkout.
  • Normative, #2 in esg and sustainability reporting software. Pricing: Quote only; two named plans (Essential and Premium) with no prices published, and consultancy services such as CSRD reporting or SBTi target-setting priced as separate add-ons.
  • Whistlelink, #2 in whistleblowing software. Pricing: From €79/month (0-49 employees) rising through employee bands to €299/month (500-999); 1,000+ employees quoted. 30-day free trial, no credit card required.
  • Detectify, #3 in vulnerability scanning software. Pricing: Starter has no platform fee for up to 5 users, Standard starts at 2,500 euros per year, Professional at 5,000 and Enterprise at 15,000, with extra charges for added assets, domains and environments.

Barred from places 1 to 3 as dominant incumbents in a category: Acast, Inriver and Spotify for Creators. 10 of the 22 sell on quote only (45%), above the 27% across all 2024 listings.
