Italy falls below the EU27 average on CRM cloud adoption. 7.84% of enterprises with 10 or more employees paid for CRM software as a cloud service in 2023, 3.5 points under the bloc's 11.34% and thirteenth of the 16 countries compared here.
CRM and ERP in Italy, against the EU27
Growth has been slower than the bloc's: up 2.3 points from 5.54% in 2018, while the EU27 average gained 4.69. It was under the average in 2018 as well. Ranked on the 2018 figures it would have been tenth, so it has lost 3 places.
ERP is the stronger of the two measures: 10.91% of enterprises paid for ERP software as a cloud service in 2023, 3.07 points more than did so for CRM. That is 0.82 points below the EU27's 11.73% and tenth of 16, 3 places higher than on CRM. Here the figure moved against the EU27 average: it was 11.94% in 2021 and has fallen 1.03 points, while the average rose 2.08. In the CRM ranking Italy sits between Hungary (8.75%) and Portugal (7.7%).
