How committed are you? I don’t mean in big things where you can easily be noticed. Not in your work place nor in your family. Okay, you love your family, job, and friends. You’ll give up anything to make your family and friends happy. I understand. You’re committed to them. That’s great. But that’s not what I mean.

How committed are you in doing small things? Acts of kindness which may unnoticed and probably unappreciated. Are you committed to living a sustainable life for the sake of future generations. Are you committed to helping your community, in your own little way. Do you throw dirt on the streets or do you encourage others to keep it clean?
That is what I call commitment. When you do good for the sake of goodness. When no one is watching. Communities need committed inhabitants. People who are committed to the common good of others. Who do not only ask what their community can do for them but what they can do for their community.
Are you such a person?
