StatSniper ("we," "us," or "our") operates the StatSniper mobile and web application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using StatSniper, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect:
During onboarding, we collect:
You may optionally provide:
During onboarding, we derive an approximate location from your IP address and save it:
We do not continuously track your location. Country and country code are saved on your profile. City, state, coordinates, and timezone are saved in the private part of your account. When you buy or sell picks, or apply to become an influencer, we look up the country of the IP address on that request to decide whether paid picks are available. That lookup uses a geolocation database we operate. The IP address is not sent to an outside geolocation company. It may be written to our server logs for that request.
If you apply to become an influencer, we collect additional information required for payment processing:
You enter this information in the App. We send it to Stripe, our payment processor, over an encrypted connection, so the payout account can be created. We do not save the Social Security number, date of birth, mailing address, or phone number in our database. We do save the legal first and last name from that signup, and the identifier of the payout account, on your influencer profile.
We automatically collect:
Our web application (statsniper.com) may use the following tracking technologies:
Our mobile application does not use browser cookies but may use equivalent on-device storage for session management and caching.
You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the web application.
When you use the social features, we store:
Important: Messages are stored as plaintext and are not end-to-end encrypted. While messages are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (server-side encryption), StatSniper has the technical ability to access message content for purposes including content moderation, legal compliance, and service operation. Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial account numbers, etc.) through the messaging features.
When you use the AI betting advisor ("Chad"), we store:
Your messages, the contents of files you upload, and publicly available sports data (game schedules, scores, player statistics, odds, injury reports) are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses. If you ask Chad about a goal, that request also includes the goal's bankroll, stake plan, and results. We do not include your email, payment details, or precise location.
Based on your interactions with the AI advisor, we build a profile of your interests to personalize responses:
When the AI advisor provides betting predictions, we store:
This is used to measure and display AI accuracy metrics.
When you track player props, we store:
To power personalized content recommendations, we generate:
We track in-app events for product improvement:
If you use Goal Manager, we store:
Ending a goal keeps that record. When you ask Chad about a goal, we include the goal's bankroll, stake plan, and results in the request that generates the answer.
If you import a photo of a sportsbook bet slip, or send one to Chad, we store the photo and a record of what we read from it. That record can include the picks and any sportsbook, stake, or name printed on the slip. We use it to try to match the picks to games and props.
We use your information for the following purposes:
We share information with the following service providers. Each provider processes data solely for the purposes described and is bound by their respective data processing terms.
Your messages, conversation history, and the contents of files you upload are processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses, together with publicly available sports data. If you ask about a goal, the provider also receives that goal's bankroll, stake plan, and results. These providers do not receive your email, payment details, or precise location.
Subscription and purchase transactions are handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives your email and payment method details. For influencers, you enter your legal name, date of birth, address, phone number, and Social Security number in the App, and we send that information to Stripe. We do not save the Social Security number, date of birth, address, or phone number in our database. We do save the legal first and last name and the payout-account identifier on your profile. Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Our App runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure provided by a major cloud platform provider. User data is stored and processed within secured, access-controlled environments subject to the provider's data processing terms.
Post content and player names are indexed in a in-house search service to power in-app search functionality.
If you submit a support request, your message and user ID are sent to an email delivery service for routing to our support team.
We use analytics and crash reporting services to understand app usage and improve stability. These services receive anonymized event data and crash logs and are governed by their respective data processing terms.
We fetch publicly available sports data (schedules, scores, player statistics, odds) from third-party sports data providers. No user data is sent to these providers.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can delete your account through the App settings. When you delete your account:
Account deletion is irreversible. A download in the App is not a full copy of the information we hold, and which downloads are available depends on your membership. To request a copy, email privacy@statsniper.com before you delete the account.
StatSniper is for people 21 and older. During signup we ask for your birth year, and the App only offers years that make you at least 21. We rely on the year you select. We do not check it against a government ID or a third-party database. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 21, we will suspend the account and delete the information described in Section 7.
If you believe someone under 21 has an account, please contact us at support@statsniper.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@statsniper.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.
International Users (EEA, UK & Switzerland). If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, additional rights and disclosures apply to you under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review our GDPR Privacy Notice, which supplements and forms part of this Privacy Policy.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act:
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising through advertising pixels on our website; where you enter an email address into a form on our site, a cryptographically hashed version of that address may be transmitted to an advertising partner. You may opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We will not discriminate against you for opting out.
To submit a request, contact us at support@statsniper.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to those described in Section 9, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration. We do share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. To exercise any applicable rights, contact us at support@statsniper.com.
Stat Sniper honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser, and we apply it automatically — no account and no further action is required. If you have previously opted in through Your Privacy Choices, that later and more specific choice takes precedence until you opt out again. Separately, some browsers transmit a legacy "Do Not Track" (DNT) header. Because no industry-standard protocol for DNT was ever agreed, we do not respond to DNT signals; GPC, not DNT, is the signal we act on.
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Clark County, Nevada, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with any changes, you may delete your account as described in Section 7.
