These terms govern your use of the SpecMiru Chrome extension (the “Extension”) and the specmiru.com website and services (the “Website”), together “SpecMiru”.

1. Acceptance

By installing the Extension or using the Website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use SpecMiru.

2. The service

SpecMiru is a tool that inspects web pages locally in your browser and produces technical context (styles, structure, measurements, assets, exports) that you can copy. The Website provides information, documentation, a public roadmap, release notes and forms to contact us.

SpecMiru is currently offered in Early Access. During this phase, available features and access conditions may evolve. Free and paid plans may be introduced later. Material changes to access conditions will be communicated in advance in accordance with applicable law.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Use SpecMiru only on pages you are allowed to access, and in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of the websites you inspect, including intellectual property rights.
  • You are responsible for the content you copy, export, capture or share, including any personal or confidential information visible on the pages you inspect. SpecMiru's masking of emails and tokens is best-effort and does not guarantee the removal of all sensitive information. Its privacy protections are on by default, but you can turn them off in Settings › Privacy; if you do, form values, passwords, emails and tokens may appear in what you capture and export.
  • Assets (images, SVG, videos, fonts) found on a page belong to their owners. SpecMiru does not grant you any right to reuse them.
  • Do not abuse the Website or its API: no automated mass submissions, no attempts to bypass rate limits or security, no unlawful, abusive or malicious content.

4. Feedback and suggestions

When you send feedback or an idea, you allow us to use it to improve SpecMiru without obligation or compensation. We decide freely whether and how to act on it. Public roadmap copy is written by us; we never publish your message, email or attachments.

5. Intellectual property

SpecMiru, its code, design, name and logo are protected. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property right to you, other than a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SpecMiru for its intended purpose.

6. Availability and warranty

SpecMiru is provided “as is”, without warranty of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Values are computed by the browser at a given moment and may not reflect source code or other screen sizes. Always review exported content before using or sharing it.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or business, or for the use you make of the content you inspect, export or share. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including towards consumers.

8. Privacy

See the privacy policy.

9. Termination

You can stop using SpecMiru at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We may suspend access to the Website's forms or API in case of abuse.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Website. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
