For the first time, I used the ability to get two backups, the curent day and the day-1 ones, by setting to "2" "snapshots to keep" I expect that luckybackup creates 2 folders for each one. No ? This is not the case. There is only one backup. Size of the snapshot 628 GB. Size of the storage 3,6 TB. luckybackup 0.5.0 openSUSE Tumbleweed Thanks
Is this version solved the "green" problem with HDR ? see https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/tickets/991/ Thanks
Thanks
How do you downgrade ? thanks.
No problem with DRO
camera 2 api => hdr failure, photo is green
Hello I use Osmand (maps & routing tool) There is a similar feature. Osmand displays the routing map approaching a crossroad while the screen is locked and switched off. Then are you sure this is a device limitation and not an opencamera problem ?
opensuse 15.3 luckubackup 0.5.0 My layout : "backup source inside destination". I use btrfs for my "home" partition. Some files are restored. I must delete again these files then they are definitively deleted. Thanks

The horizontal inclination does not swith to green
The "delete files..." was the problem. Thanks. It would be a good thing to create a task profile named "backup" where some options are checked by default. No ? I suggest using the language of backup as "full backup", "iterative backup". The first time we make a snaptshot. It is a "full backup". The other snapshots are " iterative update of the full backup". Like this beginner of your tool understand easier and old user as me recalls what luckybackup does. Anyway thanks
openSuse Leap Argon 15.3 luckybackup 05.0 I defined a task to execute each day. Task definition: - snapshot - only 1 kept - don't create any additional folder I deleted a file in the source before the snapshot. After snapshot, the file is not deleted in destination
Hello I did a first backup ( 500 GB). The log size is 39 MB. If i try to read it with luckybackup then i wait several minutes and the window is still empty. I can read it with kate. Kate displays the log rapidly. thanks
i read the case 2 but it is too techie for me Please refer to unix/linux commands XAUTH and XHOST for a full understanding of X-Server access control issues what must i do ?
i use "luckybackup" not "luckybackup superuser" i scheduled job with "luckybackup" as usual. i scheduled job for a long time. for a long time there was no problem. As i explained in comment 2020-07-17 sometjhing changed in opensuse. location of xhaut_<suffix> is no more in the home user but in /run/user/1000/ and now at every (pc start or kde session start ?) the filename "xauth_<suffix>" gets a random <suffix> as for example "xauth_anrAKo" then value of XAUTHORITY changes at every (pc start or kde...

i made an error in diagnosis. if i launch manualy the cron job then no problem. ( with "execute now" feature in kde settings > task scheduler) if cron launches the job then it fails with error message /bin/sh : ligne 1 : 6354 Abandon (core dumped)env DISPLAY=:0 /usr/bin/luckybackup --silent --skip-critical /home/roubach/.luckyBackup/profiles/default.profile > /home/roubach/.luckyBackup/logs/default-LastCronLog.log 2>&1

I use openSuse linux with KDE environment. Along the time I saw more and more apps taking care the of Exif orientation tag: Vlc kde dolphin Okular Gwenview Digikam Google photo. Till recently OC adds this tag for STD and DRO. OC keeps setting this tag for STD but no more for DRO. With Digikam i use it to rotate photo. Thus for me it is normal a photo or video gets an Exif orientation tag.
For any mode that requires Open Camera to process the image (i.e., it's not saving JPEG data > direct from the camera driver), then the bitmap itself is rotated to reflect the orientation, rather than making use of the Exif orientation tag. So I don't set one. i use OC since i get a S2 Plus and then a S7. OC always set Exif orientation tag for STD, DRO modes. For HDR mode i must check this. Suddenly no more Exif orientation tag for DRO. why an Exif orientation tag for STD and no more for DRO? Why...

I don't agree. Perhaps api to get orientation changed or a common library is buggy etc. Then it is a dev team problem. Dev team must explore the problem to know where is the bug.
opencamera 1.47.2 problem still there
DRO : same problem, no orientation.
Samsung s7 G930F android 8.0
i check that in photo there is no value exiftool -TAG -Orientation 20190804T165732.jpg Orientation : Unknown (0) with Samsung camera no problem
no more orientation value
i tried to reproduce problem but i failed. it seems with openSuse 15.1 and last kde updates there is no more problem. Backup is actually executed at 12 h.
ok thanks

i assume this is a sddm problem not a luckybackup problem. happily there is a headless feature. this a good workaround. thanks for your effort.
