About Mesrai
Mesrai is a multi-agent AI code review platform for engineering teams. Five specialist agents (Bug, Security, Performance, Architecture and a team Playbook agent) review every pull request, backed by a graph of your codebase that traces the impact of each change across monorepos and multiple repositories. Reviews are posted inline with severity rankings and suggested fixes, and Mesrai also tracks DORA metrics for engineering health. Bring your own LLM key and pay your provider directly. Reviews run in ephemeral sandboxes and your code is never used for training. Available with a VS Code extension, a CLI and MCP plugins.

"Reviews PRs with real codebase context, not just the diff" Posted 2026-10-04
Pros: Mesrai reviews pull requests with context from the whole repository, so its comments go beyond the lines that changed. We currently using it for our dev team since 1 year. I especially like the Jira/Linear ticket check / custom review rules / the CLI / bringing our own model key; keep only what you actually use. It is quick to set up on GitHub/GitLab.
Cons: It is a newer product with a smaller community and fewer third-party reviews than established tools.
Overall: Mesrai has become part of our PR workflow at our company. It reviews each pull request with context from the whole codebase, so the comments are relevant to our code instead of generic, and the feedback is easy to act on. I would recommend it to engineering teams looking for AI code review that understands their codebase.
