GearDash
GearDash is shop management software for specialty repair and rental businesses: bike shops, ski and snowboard shops, music stores, skate sharpening services, dive shops, and kayak and canoe liveries. It runs the parts of the day that generic point-of-sale systems miss - the repair bench, the rental fleet, and the customer communication in between.
Customers check themselves in by scanning a QR code or using an in-store kiosk, so the counter line disappears and every job starts with clean, complete information. Work flows into a live repair queue that the whole team sees in real time, with optional workflow stations for shops that move gear bench to bench. When a job is finished, the customer automatically gets a text that their gear is ready, and two-way SmartMessaging lets staff answer questions or get approval for additional work without picking up the phone.
On the rental side, GearDash manages packages, fleet quantities, barcoded equipment, and returns with damage photos tha
