reMIDj is a fork of Mixxx 2.7, the free and open-source DJ application, focused on a redesigned interface for live mixing: Mixxx's engine with a denser, console-like layout.
It keeps the full Mixxx feature set: crates and playlists, beatgrids and BPM detection, hotcues, loops, keylock, effects chains, MIDI/HID controllers, recording and broadcasting.
On top of that it ships reMIDjVDJ, a QML skin and the default one: a dark console from 1280x720 up, with a compact mixer column, arc knobs, per-deck colours and three colour schemes. It also adds stem separation with Demucs, lyrics transcribed with Whisper and drawn on the waveform, EQ-to-stems per deck, 21 reactive visual scenes, an AI assistant for AutoDJ and an OSC server.
Builds: Windows installer (amd64), .deb and AppImage for Linux. Not the official Mixxx release; GPL v2, same copyleft terms. reMIDj is an experimental.
