POWLA is a formalism that allows to represent linguistic corpora in RDF.
POWLA is an OWL/DL formalization of an abstract data model, PAULA (http://www.sfb632.uni-potsdam.de/d1/paula/doc), that has been developed to represent (a) any type of linguistic annotation applicable to textual data, and (b) any combination of annotation layers.
