Filee is a free, open-source file converter for Windows 10 and 11 that you use by dragging. Hold Ctrl, drag files in File Explorer, and a donut of formats opens right at your cursor. Drop them on a format and the converted files appear next to the originals.
It converts 180 formats: images (HEIC, WebP, AVIF, RAW, PSD), PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Korean HWP/HWPX, e-books, video, audio, archives, CAD drawings and fonts. Everything runs on your PC, so files are never uploaded, and it works offline. Microsoft Office, Hancom Office and LibreOffice are not needed.
Presets set quality, size, DPI, metadata and where files are saved. Watch folders convert whatever lands in them, and the filee command converts from scripts. Video and audio use FFmpeg, which Filee downloads once or takes from your PC if you already have it.
Available in English, Korean and Simplified Chinese. MIT licensed, no ads, no account.
