AudioEnhancerMAX is a free, MIT open-source audio workspace for Apple Silicon Macs, macOS 13+. Stable 3.8.3 (build 3.8.4) cleans, transcribes and edits recordings with user-approved cuts/mutes, preserved originals and undo/redo. Revision-bound exports, reports and Project Capsules connect decisions to rendered audio. Core processing and transcription run locally; models may download on first use. Optional services have separate controls.
3.9.0 Experimental 1 is available alongside stable, as a separate app with its own data and settings. Its Music brief assistant builds editable text prompts with six presets, copy/JSON export and optional local Ollama suggestions requiring permission and review. It does not generate audio. Both Mac DMGs are Developer ID signed and Apple notarized. English interface.
Downloads and release notes are on the project website and Files tab. Feedback on presets, controls and export: https://github.com/sev7enITA/AudioEnhancerMAX/issues
