    Apollo Server

    Apollo Server

Spec-compliant and production ready JavaScript GraphQL server

Apollo Server is an open-source, spec-compliant GraphQL server that's compatible with any GraphQL client, including Apollo Client. It's the best way to build a production-ready, self-documenting GraphQL API that can use data from any source. Apollo Server provides a simple API for integrating with any Node.js web framework or serverless environment. The @apollo/server package itself ships with a minimally-configurable, standalone web server that handles CORS and body parsing out of the box. Integrations with other environments are community-maintained. Apollo Server's standalone server lets you get a GraphQL server up and running quickly without needing to set up an HTTP server yourself. It allows all the same configuration of GraphQL logic as the Express integration, but does not provide the ability to make fine-grained tweaks to the HTTP-specific behavior of your server.

    TableExport

    TableExport

The simple, easy-to-implement library to export HTML tables to xlsx

The simple, easy-to-implement library to export HTML tables to xlsx, xls, csv, and txt files. To use this library, include the FileSaver.js library, and TableExport library before the closing body tag of your HTML document. In order to provide Office Open XML SpreadsheetML Format ( .xlsx ) support, you must include the following third-party library in your project before both FileSaver.js and TableExport. To support legacy browsers ( Chrome < 20, Firefox 13, Opera 12.10, IE, 10, Safari 6 ) include the Blob.js polyfill before the FileSaver.js script. Additional properties can be passed-in to customize the look and feel of your tables, buttons, and exported data. Notice that by default, TableExport will create export buttons for three different filetypes xls, csv, txt. You can choose which buttons to generate by setting the formats property to the filetype(s) of your choice.

    uwsgi-nginx-flask

    uwsgi-nginx-flask

Docker image with uWSGI and Nginx for Flask applications in Python

Image with uWSGI and Nginx for Flask apps in Python running in a single container. Docker image with uWSGI and Nginx for Flask web applications in Python running in a single container. Optionally using Alpine Linux. This Docker image allows you to create Flask web applications in Python that run with uWSGI and Nginx in a single container. The combination of uWSGI with Nginx is a common way to deploy Python Flask web applications. It is widely used in the industry and would give you decent performance. If you are starting a new project, you might benefit from a newer and faster framework based on ASGI instead of WSGI (Flask and Django are WSGI-based). Also, if you want to use new technologies like WebSockets it would be easier (and possible) with a newer framework based on ASGI, like FastAPI or Starlette. As the standard ASGI was designed to be able to handle asynchronous code like the one needed for WebSockets.

    Flask-MongoEngine

    Flask-MongoEngine

MongoEngine flask extension with WTF model forms support

Flask-MongoEngine is a Flask extension that provides integration with MongoEngine, WtfForms and FlaskDebugToolbar. By default, Flask-MongoEngine will install integration only between Flask and MongoEngine. Integration with WTFForms and FlaskDebugToolbar are optional and should be selected as extra option, if required. This is done by users request, to limit amount of external dependencies in different production setup environments. All methods end extras described below are compatible between each other and can be used together. We still maintain special case for Flask = 1.1.4 support (the latest version in 1.x.x branch). To install flask-mongoengine with required dependencies use legacy extra option. Flask-mongoengine can be installed with Flask-WTF and WTFForms support. This will extend project dependencies with Flask-WTF, WTFForms and related packages.

    GraphQL WebSocket

    GraphQL WebSocket

    Coherent, zero-dependency, lazy, simple, GraphQL

Coherent, zero-dependency, lazy, simple, GraphQL over WebSocket Protocol compliant server and client. Messages are represented through the JSON structure and are stringified before being sent over the network. They are bidirectional, meaning both the server and the client must conform to the specified message structure. Connection is a connection within the established socket describing a "connection" through which the operation requests will be communicated. The server can close the socket (kick the client off) at any time. The close event dispatched by the server is used to describe the fatal error to the client. The client closes the socket and the connection by dispatching a 1000: Normal Closure close event to the server indicating a normal closure.

    restless

    restless

A lightweight REST miniframework for Python

A lightweight REST mini framework for Python. Works great with Django, Flask, Pyramid & Tornado, but should be useful for many other Python web frameworks. Based on the lessons learned from Tastypie & other REST libraries. Restless tries to be RESTful by default, but flexible enough. The main Resource class has data methods (that you implement) for all the main RESTful actions. It also uses HTTP status codes as correctly as possible. Restless is BYOD (bring your own data) and hence, works with almost any ORM/data source. If you can import a module to work with the data & can represent it as JSON, Restless can work with it. Restless is small & easy to keep in your head. Common usages involve overriding just a few easily remembered method names. Total source code is an under a thousand lines of code.

A boilerplate/starter project for quickly building RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, and Mongoose. By running a single command, you will get a production-ready Node.js app installed and fully configured on your machine. The app comes with many built-in features, such as authentication using JWT, request validation, unit and integration tests, continuous integration, docker support, API documentation, pagination, etc. The app has a utility ApiError class to which you can attach a response code and a message, and then throw it from anywhere (catchAsync will catch it). Request data is validated using Joi. Check the documentation for more details on how to write Joi validation schemas. In production mode, only info, warn, and error logs will be printed to the console. It is up to the server (or process manager) to actually read them from the console and store them in log files.

    Cabin

Cabin is the best JavaScript and Node.js logging service and logging

Cabin is the best JavaScript and Node.js logging service and logging npm package. Cabin is a drop-in replacement and the best alternative to Sentry, Timber, Airbrake, Papertrail, Loggly, Bugsnag, etc. Cabin will automatically detect and mask the following list of extremely sensitive types of data in your logs. Reduce your disk storage costs through Cabin's automatic conversion of Streams, Buffers, and ArrayBuffers to simplified, descriptive-only objects that otherwise would be unreadable (and obviously pollute your log files and disk storage). Cabin works with the most popular Node.js HTTP frameworks (e.g. Express and Koa), request body handling packages (e.g. multer and body-parser), and the passport authentication framework. It supports Node v6.4+ and IE 10+ out of the box, and its browser-ready bundle is only 39 KB (minified and gzipped).
