This is a simplified version of the GNU Grep. Search a RegExp on a file that contain all alphanumeric characters. Use special symbols like @ and # to extend the search. Now you can set Case Sensitive option and ignore withespaces during the search.

An application to gather, aggregate, chart and report information originating from any log files. It uses regular expressions that are constructed graphically and can be tested in the application against samples. Once configured for a specific type of log file set, the gathering and display of the chart for a new files set can be done in just one click. Contains a sample template to handle few log types: Java GC log, OpenDS access log, Apache access log

Systematically and efficiently test regular expressions. Very useful when designing regexps to parse content, e.g. from web pages.

Filecmp is a command-line application that gets two filenames as argument and outputs the comparison between them - e.g. if they are the same or not... it may look irrelevant but sometime it's very useful, specially inside scripts.
