PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

    TurboVNC

    TurboVNC

    High-speed, 3D-friendly, TightVNC-compatible remote desktop software

TurboVNC is a high-performance, enterprise-quality version of VNC based on TightVNC, TigerVNC, and X.org. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned for maximum performance and compression with 3D applications (VirtualGL), video, and other image-intensive workloads. TurboVNC, in combination with VirtualGL, provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance. TurboVNC's high-speed encoding methods have been adopted by TigerVNC and libvncserver, and TurboVNC is also compatible with any other TightVNC derivative. TurboVNC forked from TightVNC in 2004 and still covers all of the TightVNC 1.3.x features, but TurboVNC contains numerous feature enhancements and bug fixes relative to TightVNC, and it compresses 3D and video workloads much better than TightVNC while using generally only 5-20% of the CPU time of the latter. Using non-default settings, TurboVNC can also be made to compress 2D workloads as "tightly" as TightVNC.

    TaskExplorer

    TaskExplorer

    Powerful system task manager

TaskExplorer is a powerful system task-manager / process-inspector tool designed for Windows that goes well beyond the capabilities of the built-in Task Manager. It provides real-time insights into running processes, threads, open handles, network sockets, memory usage, modules loaded, and more — all in a unified, fast, and efficient GUI. Rather than scattering information across tabs or dialogs, TaskExplorer displays detailed data in a panel layout: when you select a process, the lower panel updates dynamically to show relevant info (threads, handles, sockets, modules, etc.), making deep inspection quick and intuitive. It includes advanced panels: a Thread Panel with stack traces (helpful for diagnosing deadlocks or hangs), a Memory Panel that lets you view or even edit process memory (with search capabilities), a Socket Panel showing open network connections, data rates, pseudo-UDP connections (via ETW), and a Modules Panel listing all loaded DLLs and memory-mapped files.

    AI File Sorter

    AI File Sorter

Local AI file organization with categorization and rename suggestions

AI File Sorter is a cross-platform desktop application that uses AI (local LLMs run on your computer) to organize files and suggest meaningful file names based on real content, not just filenames or extensions. The app can analyze images locally and propose descriptive rename suggestions (for example, IMG_2048.jpg → clouds_over_lake.jpg). It can also analyze document text to improve categorization and renaming. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP, and common text files. For supported audio and video files, AI File Sorter can read embedded metadata (such as ID3, Vorbis, and MP4 tags) to suggest normalized names like year_artist_album_title.ext. AI analysis runs read-only, and all suggestions must be reviewed before being applied. AI File Sorter can run fully offline using local models like Mistral or LLaMA, so files and metadata stay on your device unless you configure a remote endpoint.
