GeigerLog is a combination of data logger, presenter, and analyzer, and is now released in version 2.1! Based on Python (Version 3), it runs on Linux, Windows, Macs, Raspberry Pi, and other. GeigerLog is WiFi-enabled for servers and clients; it can be monitored by SmartPhone. Initially developed for Geiger counters, it is now a more universal tool, which equally well handles data like temperature, air-pressure, humidity, CO2. QUAST
Quality Assessment Tool for Genome Assemblies
QUAST performs fast and convenient quality evaluation and comparison of genome assemblies. It is maintained by the Gurevich lab at HIPS (https://helmholtz-hips.de/en/hmsb). For the most up-to-date description, please visit http://quast.sf.net. Below are just some highlights. QUAST computes several well-known metrics, including contig accuracy, the number of genes discovered, N50, and others, as well as introducing new ones, like NA50 (see details in the paper and manual). A comprehensive analysis results in summary tables (in plain text, tab-separated, and LaTeX formats) and colorful plots. The tool also produces web-based reports condensing all information in one easy-to-navigate file. QUAST and its three follow-up papers (MetaQUAST, Icarus, QUAST-LG) papers were published in Bioinformatics; the last paper (WebQUAST) is out in Nucl Acid Research. -

AirTSP is also named AirTSP (TSP standing for Travel Service Provider). That project aims at providing a clean API and a simple implementation, as a C++ library, of an Airline Schedule Management System. It is intended to be used in simulated environments only: it is not designed to work in the real-world of Airline IT operations. AirTSP/AirTSP makes an extensive use of existing open-source libraries for increased functionality, speed and accuracy. This project is UI to guide the user through the steps of home brewing. Each beer has a recipe of ingredients, but it also has a “recipe” for the process to make the beer. This app allows you to load a recipe (BeerXML), guide you through the brewing steps and record any details so that you can improve next time. By default, this app relies on user inputs and feedback from the real-world. There are easy hooks to a link up a real system, so that if you wanted to automate some of the input and feedback it could be possible (ex. read temperature from sensor. Turn heat source on/off).
