Our primary goal is to create a great, full featured, 3D CAD environment for Blender for use by engineers, designers, drafters, architects, etc. based on the OpenCascade toolkit.

RPy is a very simple, yet robust, Python interface to the R Programming Language. It can manage all kinds of R objects and can execute arbitrary R functions (including the graphic functions).

Engineering, analysis and computing tools for marine and coastal science and technology

KEMP is a fast FDTD solver on a GPU-based cluster. The FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain) method is a popular numerical method for electromagnetic field simulations. KEMP enables hardware accelerations suitable for multi-GPU, multi-core CPU and GPU cluster. KEMP also provide easy configuration by using Python scripting language.

The Arabic Corpus {compiled by Dr. Mourad Abbas ( http://sites.google.com/site/mouradabbas9/corpora ) The corpus Khaleej-2004 contains 5690 documents. It is divided to 4 topics (categories). The corpus Watan-2004 contains 20291 documents organized in 6 topics (categories). The central problem to be addressed in this project concerns a multidisciplinary (linguistics and computational linguistics) investigation into sharing of knowledge and resources between closely-related languages, specifically relating to the automatic processing of compounds. Specifically, we will explore the possibility to create new knowledge about closely-related languages, and efficiently develop additional, more advanced resources for (a) compound segmentation; and (b) the semantic analysis of compounds; as such, the project will be divided into two interrelated subprojects, to be executed simultaneously. The focus in this project will be on Afrikaans (with Dutch as the closely-related, well-sourced language), which will lay grounds for future work on other closely-related language pairs.

ResistPy is a Python program designed to work with R2 & R3t for processing, modelling & visualization of electrical resistivity data. ResistPy reads a variety of raw data formats and helps the user prepare the data for modelling with R2 or R3.

This is an simple ecological model for lakes and reservoirs that contains a very detailed description of the most relevant nitrogen processes. The model is not very complete, but the main intention is to develop a library to be coupled with other models and use the full-mixed model as a testing version. A lot of things can be improved. I will read all the suggestions but I cannot promise that I will include all of them. Every new part of the code will contain the name of the author. If someone contributes improving the capabilities of this model in a substantial way, I will include that person as co-author of the model in the next version release. I hope this will promote people to contribute. Of course, fixing bugs or minor changes will also be mentioned with the corresponding author. Thanks a lot. I hope this can be the seed of a Open Source Community of Ecological Modellers.

This project is a part of a mini project required by the Mechatronics-2 course for the 4th year Mechatronics class in faculty of engineering Ainshams university. The mini project involves the control of an articulated robotic arm which resembles a human arm. The control is done via tele-manipulation which is done by the tracking of 4 IR LEDs fixed at the joints of the controller arm. This code is the part of the project responsible for the interfacing with the wiimote, stereo-triangulation of the wiimote data and determining the 3D coordinates of the IR LEDs.

Using Blender3D as an interface for NC Simulation and Visualization

Contains a framework for Coldfire MCUs like 52254. The framework supports a Command Line Interface (CLI) that may work from Serial port, USB or ENET. The framework uses Processor Expert and IDE requirement is MCU Eclipse 10.4 from Freescale. Includes the FunkOS Realtime Operating System by Funkenstein Software Consulting, available at http://funkos.sourceforge.net Mainly it is a support package for the development board Perseus, but I have ported also the RTOS to MCF52233DEMO board.
