FreeCAD is a general purpose feature-based, parametric 3D modeler for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, aimed directly at mechanical engineering and product design but also fits a wider range of uses in engineering, such as architecture or other engineering specialties. It is 100% Open Source and extremely modular, allowing for very advanced extension and customization. FreeCAD is based on OpenCasCade, a powerful geometry kernel, features an Open Inventor-compliant 3D scene representation model provided by the Coin 3D library, and a broad Python API. The interface is built with Qt. FreeCAD runs exactly the same way on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux platforms.

Matplotlib is a python library for making publication quality plots using a syntax familiar to MATLAB users. Matplotlib uses numpy for numerics. The aim of this project is to compile up-to-date Windows builds of FontForge. GtkGLExt is an OpenGL extension to GTK+. It provides additional GDK objects which support OpenGL rendering in GTK+, and GtkWidget API add-ons to make GTK+ widgets OpenGL-capable.

LiVES mixes realtime video performance and non-linear editing in one professional quality application. It is designed to be simple to use, yet powerful. It is small in size, yet it has many advanced features. Using LiVES, you can start editing and making video right away, without having to worry about formats, frame sizes, or framerates. It is a very flexible tool which is used by both professional VJ's and video editors - mix and switch clips from the keyboard, use dozens of realtime effects, trim and edit your clips in the clip editor, and bring them together using the multitrack timeline. You can even record your performance in real time, and then edit it further or render it straight away. For the more technically minded, the application is frame and sample accurate, and it can be controlled remotely or scripted for use as a video server. And it supports all of the latest free standards.

BTK contains C++ and Python libraries that implement speech processing and microphone array techniques such as speech feature extraction, speech enhancement, speaker tracking, beamforming, dereverberation and echo cancellation algorithms. The Millennium ASR provides C++ and python libraries for automatic speech recognition. The Millennium ASR implements a weighted finite state transducer (WFST) decoder, training and adaptation methods. These toolkits are meant for facilitating research and development of automatic distant speech recognition.

Ivolution is a face timelapse generator. Feed it with a bunch of images and it will generate a movie with your face centered on the screen. Ivolution uses face detection and modifies the images so that your face always keeps the same size and location over the movie. Images are processed in chronological order, so that you can see your face evoluate over time !
