FreeCAD is a general purpose feature-based, parametric 3D modeler for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, aimed directly at mechanical engineering and product design but also fits a wider range of uses in engineering, such as architecture or other engineering specialties. It is 100% Open Source and extremely modular, allowing for very advanced extension and customization. FreeCAD is based on OpenCasCade, a powerful geometry kernel, features an Open Inventor-compliant 3D scene representation model provided by the Coin 3D library, and a broad Python API. The interface is built with Qt. FreeCAD runs exactly the same way on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux platforms.

MComix is a user-friendly, customizable image viewer. It is specifically designed to handle comic books (both Western comics and manga) and supports a variety of container formats (including CBR, CBZ, CB7, CBT, LHA and PDF). MComix is a fork of Comix.

EasyABC allows the user to create, edit, view, play, convert music written in the ABC music notation language. The program was originally written in Python 2.7 and WxPython by Nils Liberg and runs on Windows, OSX, and Linux. Jan Wybren de Jong has converted to run on Python 3.8 or higher. Frédéric Aupépin has been supporting EasyABC on OSX. EasyABC depends upon other external programs like abc2midi, abcm2ps, fluidsynth. If you install the Windows or Mac executables most of these programs are automatically included.

DPG for X (dpg4x) is a program that was designed to allow the easy creation of DPG video files on Linux, but now it can also run on OS X and Windows. DPG is a special format of MPEG-1 video specifically made for playback on a Nintendo DS.

Comix is a user-friendly, customizable image viewer. It is specifically designed to handle comic books, but also serves as a generic viewer. It reads images in ZIP, RAR or tar archives (also gzip or bzip2 compressed) as well as plain image files.

Rickrack is a free and user-friendly color editor. It is designed to generate a set of harmonious colors from the color wheel or other places. You can share these colors with your friends, or apply them into your creative works.
