    Stanza

    Stanza

Stanford NLP Python library for many human languages

Stanza is a collection of accurate and efficient tools for the linguistic analysis of many human languages. Starting from raw text to syntactic analysis and entity recognition, Stanza brings state-of-the-art NLP models to languages of your choosing. Stanza is a Python natural language analysis package. It contains tools, which can be used in a pipeline, to convert a string containing human language text into lists of sentences and words, to generate base forms of those words, their parts of speech and morphological features, to give a syntactic structure dependency parse, and to recognize named entities. The toolkit is designed to be parallel among more than 70 languages, using the Universal Dependencies formalism. Stanza is built with highly accurate neural network components that also enable efficient training and evaluation with your own annotated data.

    Hacker Laws

    Hacker Laws

Laws, theories, principles and patterns useful to developers

Laws, Theories, Principles and Patterns that developers will find useful. There are lots of laws which people discuss when talking about development. This repository is a reference and overview of some of the most common ones. Principles and laws to follow such as: If a program is made up of two parts, part A, which must be executed by a single processor, and part B, which can be parallelised, then we see that adding multiple processors to the system executing the program can only have a limited benefit. It can potentially greatly improve the speed of part B - but the speed of part A will remain unchanged. Also, theories like The Broken Windows Theory, which suggests that visible signs of crime (or lack of care of an environment) lead to further and more serious crimes (or further deterioration of the environment). Conway's Law suggests that the technical boundaries of a system will reflect the structure of the organisation. These among others, are featured in this project.

    Frevo

    Frevo

Frevo is probably the simplest tool for evolutionary design

FREVO is an open-source framework developed in Java to help engineers and scientists in evolutionary design or optimization tasks. The major feature of FREVO is the componentwise decomposition and separation of the key building blocks for each optimization tasks. We identify these as the problem definition, solution representation and the optimization method. This structure enables the components to be designed separately allowing the user to easily swap and evaluate different configurations and methods or to connect an external simulation tool. The latest version in development is hosted at https://github.com/smartgrids-aau/Frevo

    ALEPH-w

    ALEPH-w

    Data structures and Algorithms library

Aleph-w is a library of data structures and algorithms implemented in and for C++. It contains the main data structures: single and double lists, special arrays (dynamic and of bits), many types of trees: multitrees, binary search trees, avl, red-black, randomized, treaps, splay and other interesting types. Several types of hash tables are implemented: separated chaining, open adressing with linear probing and double function hash; this last one has a garbage colector mechanism that allows to free deleted entries. Dynamic linear hash tables are implemented too. The main algorithms on graphs are implemented in an easy way and with good performance features. Network Flow (maximum and min cost), cut points, topological sort, spanning trees, min paths. etc. The graphs are generic in the sense that they can contain data independent of the algorithm. Several containers of the C++ STL library are implemented with Aleph-w. Their performance is better than GNU implementation

    Last Java Collection Library

Java library to work with scalar arrays as usual Collections

The package allows to work with scalar arrays as usual collections. The problem with a scalar array Java templates don't support scalar types as generic parameters. Java code working with collection interfaces such as List or Collection is inapplicable for arrays. Some libraries supply methods to work with object array. These methods are generic and built-in types int, boolean, long, short, byte, double, float suffer. The number of scalar type is small and finite. There are realization of Iterable, Iterator, Collection, and List interfaces for each scalar type. Also the library gives such useful methods as contains and indexOf for objects with Iterable interface only. Yeah. There is some stupidness because all implementations differ between each other only types and this code has 100% implicit coupling and duplications. But Java has not left other way.

    FB Chart Designer

Create multi-degree polynominals charts. Designed in FbEdit & WinAPI.

This program allows to draw diagrams with chart library, that can be used with dialog applications, based on the RC files designers (such as FbEdit for example). This is the one of the fastest way to create window application with visual design methods, and implement into it an ellegant and flexible chart, that can be choosen from four different diagram kinds (if you edit code and use it in your projects). The source code chart library by Lothar Schirm is based on the consolidated solutions from FireFly Designer by Paul Squires. FB Chart Designer shows the complete example of connection those mentioned solutions to achieve thiny file and less code project. It makes more simply to analyze code and provides faster implementation of rebuilted chart library. Chart drawing method is based on "windows.bi" FreeBasic library (Windows API framework). DBNL

    DBNL

    Dynamic Bayesian Network Library

DBNL is a cross-platform library that offers a variety of implementations of Bayesian networks and machine learning algorithms. It is a flexible library that covers all aspects of Bayesian netwoks from representation to reasoning and learning. It allows you to create simple static networks as well as complex temporal models with changing structure. It can handle highly non-linear dependencies between multivariate random variables. The particle based inference can answer arbitrary questions given the provided evidence and can even cope with multimodal densities. The library supports the most common types of densities and conditional densities, like uniform or normal densities and facilitates user defined density functions. To enable easy use the library is taking account of modern development techniques like policy based design and template programming. All these properties make it applicaple for a wide range of applications.

    DIG

    DIG

A library for graph deep learning research

The key difference with current graph deep learning libraries, such as PyTorch Geometric (PyG) and Deep Graph Library (DGL), is that, while PyG and DGL support basic graph deep learning operations, DIG provides a unified testbed for higher level, research-oriented graph deep learning tasks, such as graph generation, self-supervised learning, explainability, 3D graphs, and graph out-of-distribution. If you are working or plan to work on research in graph deep learning, DIG enables you to develop your own methods within our extensible framework, and compare with current baseline methods using common datasets and evaluation metrics without extra efforts. It includes unified implementations of data interfaces, common algorithms, and evaluation metrics for several advanced tasks. Our goal is to enable researchers to easily implement and benchmark algorithms.
