The USB/IP Project aims to develop a general USB device sharing system over IP network. To share USB devices between computers with their full functionality, USB/IP encapsulates USB I/O requests into IP packets and transmits them between computers.

The RecordEditor is a Data File editor for Flat Files (delimited and fixed field position). It supports Unix / PC / Legacy (e.g. Mainframe) file formats, both Text and binary files. The Editor uses a Record-Layout description to format the files. This is ideal for Fixed width (Text or Binary) files, Cobol Data Files, Mainframe files and complicated Csv files. Cobol Copybooks can be used to format Cobol Data files. As well as an editor, The following utilities are supplied * Formatted Compare * File Copy and reformat Utility * FileWizard this is use to work out the format of a File. It can generally find both Text and binary / packed deicimal fields in a file For Simple Csv you should look at its sister project reCsvEditor. Note: The core Editor code is also used in the "Protocol buffers editor" and "Avro Editor"

The Virtual USB Analyzer is a graphical tool for browsing traces of captured USB data. It supports logs generated by Ellisys hardware analyzers and VMware's software analyzer, and Linux's usbmon.

The LogMeFree is a tool to transform NMEA frames to Google's KML. The data can be read from a file or directly from a GPS device (i.e. GPS logger, mouse).

The OS561 operating system based around FORTH/Java. The OS is to run on a VHDL chip OpenHardware design called the Minon, but could become available for other platforms. The unique point of the design is a revolutionary data compression technology.

Roundhouse is a pair of C based embedded software applications to drive model railroad stepper motor based turntables. It consists of a stepper motor code and controller code connected by an I2C network. Written in C for PIC18/PIC16s processors.

This program shows the packets in a USB communication, by decoding the output of a command like "cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/usbmon/0u" into more human-readable form

hex2file is a tool to convert Intel hexadecimal files into custom file formats and it also display the hex file contents in different views.

This project is dedicated to producing a complete library and utilities for use with the p2k protocol used on Motorola phones.

Note: The project has moved to https://github.com/pyhys/minimalmodbus The files available here are very old, download from Github instead. MinimalModbus is an easy-to-use Python module for talking to instruments (slaves) from a computer (master) using the Modbus protocol, and is intended to be running on the master. Example code includes drivers for Eurotherm and Omega process controllers. The only dependence is the pySerial module (also pure Python). This software supports the ‘Modbus RTU’ and ‘Modbus ASCII’ serial communication versions of the protocol, and is intended for use on Linux, OS X and Windows platforms. It is open source, and has the Apache License, Version 2.0.

wnaspi32-snoop is a dll, written in C to intercept and log details of calls made via the Adaptec WNASPI32.DLL SCSI library. It aims to help in the development and debugging of SCSI software/hardware.
