    NetherSX2

    NetherSX2

    Continuation of NetherSX2 based on AetherSX2 4248

NetherSX2-patch is a community-driven continuation and enhancement of the NetherSX2 Android PlayStation 2 emulator, itself a modded fork of the open-source AetherSX2 project originally based on PCSX2. It focuses on providing a more complete and feature-rich experience by applying patches to the upstream emulator build and removing ad-related bloat, fixing notification issues, and exposing many internal settings so users have finer control over performance and compatibility on mobile devices. The project maintains an up-to-date GameDB (game compatibility database), improves controller support, and includes widescreen and no-interlace patches that make many games look and run better on modern screens. Developers also include additional fixes specific to AetherSX2 and NetherSX2 builds, along with tools to resign APKs to avoid Play Protect warnings, which makes installation smoother on Android hardware.

    melonDS

    melonDS

    DS emulator, sorta

melonDS aims at providing fast and accurate Nintendo DS emulation. While it is still a work in progress, it has a pretty solid set of features. Firmware boot (not direct boot) requires a BIOS/firmware dump from an original DS or DS Lite. DS firmwares dumped from a DSi or 3DS aren't bootable and only contain configuration data, thus they are only suitable when booting games directly. DS BIOS dumps from a DSi or 3DS can be used with no compatibility issues.

    Play!

    Play!

    Play! - PlayStation2 Emulator

Play! is an open-source cross-platform emulator for Sony’s PlayStation 2 that aims to run PS2 games on a wide range of modern systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and web browsers by implementing core PS2 hardware functionality in software. It emulates primary components like the Emotion Engine CPU and graphics synthesizer, translating game code and hardware calls into host system operations, while providing users with controls to load disc images, manage states, and configure rendering options. Because the PS2’s architecture is complex and proprietary, Play! pursues compatibility incrementally, with many titles playable to varying degrees and an active compatibility tracker detailing individual game status. The project supports optimizations such as JIT code generation on compatible platforms to improve performance and offers a broad set of build targets so developers and users can experiment with different back ends and environments.

    Xenia

    Xenia

    Xbox 360 Emulator Research Project

Xenia is an open-source experimental emulator for the Xbox 360 that aims to let users run Xbox 360 games on Windows and other platforms by reverse-engineering the console’s hardware and firmware behavior in software. It implements the 360’s CPU (Xenon), GPU (including Direct3D shader logic), and system libraries to translate Xbox instructions into equivalent host machine operations, enabling many titles to launch and in some cases play at improved frame rates compared with the original hardware. Because Xbox 360 games use custom hardware features and proprietary APIs, Xenia developers have progressively mapped and translated these into PC-friendly code while balancing performance and accuracy, and the project includes compatibility tracking so users can see what games work and how well. Although not all titles are supported and some still suffer graphical or audio issues, the emulator continues to evolve with community contributions and experimental support for Vulkan and Direct3D.

    AndroidSDK

    AndroidSDK

    Full-fledged Android SDK Docker Image

AndroidSDK is a Docker-based development environment that provides a complete, portable Android SDK setup for building, testing, and deploying Android applications in a consistent and reproducible way. Instead of installing and configuring the Android SDK locally, developers can run a preconfigured container that includes essential tools such as the SDK, build tools, Gradle, and Kotlin compiler. This approach solves common issues related to environment inconsistency, such as dependency conflicts or differences between developer machines and CI pipelines. The project emphasizes minimalism and flexibility by shipping only a base SDK image, allowing developers to mount their own SDK components and customize installations as needed. It is particularly useful in continuous integration workflows, where deterministic builds and clean environments are critical.

Android Tablet 7.1.2 on Virtual Machines
Instructions: After starting this VM, enable the Play Store app, by clicking the Settings -> Apps -> Play Store -> Enable. Then, Launch Play Store App, by clicking the 3 vertical dots icon, at the bottom of desktop. Then download whatever app is needed from the Play Store. Quickly, Cancel any automatic downloads of Play Store app ( itself ), from the notification drawer, as this will prevent it from its future working. Disable the Play Store app, after your other app installs are completed. Increase CPU Count and Memory in VM's Settings, as required, for better performance. If you are very new to virtual machines, then please refer the Wiki Page for its setup instructions, for all major operating systems. VHDP, a rootless engine built into the app, runs the Linux session. On a phone that cannot run it, the app falls back to an older engine on its own, so the terminal still works. Decline the distro entirely and you still get a working BusyBox shell. claw, an assistant that lives in your terminal What makes dracxterm more than a terminal is claw. BMDFM

    BMDFM

    Binary Modular DataFlow Machine (BMDFM)

Binary Modular DataFlow Machine (BMDFM) is a software package that enables running an application in parallel on shared memory symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) computers using the multiple processors to speed up the execution of single applications. BMDFM automatically identifies and exploits parallelism due to the static and mainly dynamic scheduling of the dataflow instruction sequences derived from the formerly sequential program. The BMDFM dynamic scheduling subsystem performs a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) emulation of a tagged-token dataflow machine to provide the transparent dataflow semantics for the applications. No directives for parallel execution are needed. More info: http://www.bmdfm.com https://bmdfm.github.io
