    AlphaPlot

    AlphaPlot

Interactive scientific graphing and data analysis software.

Alpha Plot can generate different types of 2D and 3D plots (such as line, scatter, bar, pie, and surface plots) from data that is either imported from ASCII files, entered by hand, or calculated using formulas. The data is held in spreadsheets which are referred to as tables with column-based data (typically X and Y values for 2D plots) or matrices (for 3D plots). The spreadsheets as well as graphs and note windows are gathered in a project and can be organized using folders. The built-in analysis operations include column/row statistics, (de)convolution, FFT and FFT-based filters. Scripting Console support in-place evaluation of mathematical expressions and scrtipting interface to ECMAScript like dynamic scripting language(java script). The GUI of the application uses the Qt toolkit. Periodic test builds are available here http://alphaplot.sourceforge.net/test-build.html

    PMM-Lab

    PMM-Lab

Predictive Microbial Modeling plug-in for KNIME

PMM-Lab is an open-source extension to the Konstanz Information Miner (KNIME). It consists of three components: • a library of KNIME nodes (called PMM-Lab), • a library of “standard” workflows • an HSQL database.to store experimental data and microbial models. Altogether these components are designed to ease and standardize the statistical analysis of experimental microbial data and the development of predictive microbial models (PMM). Users can apply PMM-Lab to proprietary or public data and create bacterial growth / survival / inactivation models. The framework can easily be extended to other model types, e.g. growth/no-growth boundary models. PMM-Lab has been initiated and provided by the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment - BfR (Berlin, Germany). The software is in Beta status. Before using the software you have to read and accept the license and disclaimer (https://sourceforge.net/p/pmmlab/wiki/Disclaimer/). If you do not agree, do not use this software.

    Uranie

    Uranie

Uranie is CEA's uncertainty analysis platform, based on ROOT

Uranie is a sensitivity and uncertainty analysis plateform based on the ROOT framework (http://root.cern.ch) . It is developed at CEA, the French Atomic Energy Commission (http://www.cea.fr). It provides various tools for: - data analysis - sampling - statistical modeling - optimisation - sensitivity analysis - uncertainty analysis - running code on high performance computers - etc. Thanks to ROOT, it is easily scriptable in CINT (c++ like syntax) and Python. Is is available both for Unix and Windows platforms (a dedicated platform archive is available on request). Note : if you have downloaded version 3.12 before the 8th of february, a patch exists for a minor bug on TOutputFileKey file, don't hesitate to ask us.

    EnvStats

    EnvStats

An R Package for Environmental Statistics

EnvStats is an R package for environmental statistics. It is the open-source successor to the commercial module for S-Plus© called "EnvironmentalStats for S-Plus", which was first released in April, 1997. The EnvStats package, along with the R software environment, provides comprehensive and powerful software for environmental data analysis. EnvStats brings the major environmental statistical methods found in the literature and regulatory guidance documents into one statistical package, along with an extensive hypertext help system that explains what these methods do, how to use these methods, and where to find them in the environmental statistics literature. Also included are numerous built-in data sets from regulatory guidance documents and the environmental statistics literature. EnvStats combined with other R packages (e.g., for spatial analysis) provides the environmental scientist, statistician, researcher, and technician with tools to “get the job done!”
