    OpenBot

    OpenBot

OpenBot leverages smartphones as brains for low-cost robots

OpenBot leverages smartphones as brains for low-cost robots. We have designed a small electric vehicle that costs about $50 and serves as a robot body. Our software stack for Android smartphones supports advanced robotics workloads such as person following and real-time autonomous navigation. Current robots are either expensive or make significant compromises on sensory richness, computational power, and communication capabilities. We propose to leverage smartphones to equip robots with extensive sensor suites, powerful computational abilities, state-of-the-art communication channels, and access to a thriving software ecosystem. We design a small electric vehicle that costs $50 and serves as a robot body for standard Android smartphones. We develop a software stack that allows smartphones to use this body for mobile operation and demonstrate that the system is sufficiently powerful to support advanced robotics workloads such as person following and real-time autonomous navigation.

    AabResGuard

    AabResGuard

The tool of obfuscated aab resources

AabResGuard is a resource-obfuscation and resource-packing tool developed by ByteDance for Android applications. Its primary purpose is to protect and shrink the resource assets inside Android App Bundles (AAB), making reverse engineering and tampering harder while reducing final package size. It can be integrated as a command-line tool or a Gradle plugin, so developers can adopt it with minimal disruption to their existing Android build pipelines. Historically, it was used internally by ByteDance (e.g. for apps like TikTok and its related overseas products), which suggests it was robust and production-ready. However, the repository was archived in April 2025, marking it as read-only — meaning it’s no longer actively maintained or developed. Despite that, the existing code remains available to developers who want to obfuscate resources in older or legacy Android projects.

    BoostMultiDex

    BoostMultiDex

Load multiple dex files on low Android version devices

BoostMultiDex is a specialized Android-library created by ByteDance to address a long-standing performance and user-experience problem on older Android devices (specifically Android 4.x and below, i.e. SDK < 21), where loading multiple dex files after installation or upgrade can lead to extremely long “black-screen” freeze times during first startup. Instead of relying on the standard Android MultiDex mechanism, BoostMultiDex reworks the loading strategy by tapping into hidden Dalvik VM internals so that original DEX bytecode can be loaded directly, bypassing costly ODEX generation. It adopts a multi-stage loading approach (DEX bytecode → DEX file → ODEX file) to pick the fastest viable route at runtime, and optionally performs optimization (OPT) in a separate process with interruption/recovery support — minimizing startup time and preserving stability.

    CodeLocator

    CodeLocator

Android toolset that includes the Android SDK and Android Studio

CodeLocator is a developer tool designed to help analyze, navigate, and understand large Android codebases — especially useful when working with obfuscated code, many dependencies, or when you don’t have full context (e.g. in large apps or reverse-engineering contexts). It provides capabilities to quickly locate references, method calls, resource usages, and dependency paths across the project, which can dramatically speed up understanding code flow, tracing bugs, or auditing code. By giving a UI or structured navigation interface (depending on platform integration) over the project’s code and metadata, CodeLocator helps developers find where particular functions, classes or resources are used, and see their call graphs or dependency chains. This becomes particularly valuable in large-scale Android projects, legacy codebases, or when dealing with complicated modular architectures.

    DGRLVQ

Dynamic Generalized Relevance Learning Vector Quantization

Some of the usual problems for Learning vector quantization (LVQ) based methods are that one cannot optimally guess about the number of prototypes required for initialization for multimodal data structures i.e.these algorithms are very sensitive to initialization of prototypes and one has to pre define the optimal number of prototypes before running the algorithm. If a prototype, for some reasons, is ‘outside’ the cluster which it should represent and if there are points of a different categories in between, then the other points act as a barrier and the prototype will not find its optimum position during training. Since the model complexity is not known in many cases, we avoid this problem by introducing a "Dynamic" version of LVQ. Dynamic-GRLVQ (DGRLVQ), which adapts the model complexity to the given problem during training by adding or removing prototypes dynamically/realtime one by one for each category until satisfactory classification results are achieved.

My ZZZ Knowledge Micro Web Base

This is a base which stores knowledge in the form of nested sets

Hi, we are introducing you something new - ZZZ Knowledge Base. This is a base which stores knowledge in the form of nested sets, each set can contain a virtually unlimited number of elements and, in turn, each element can contain multiple elements. The access time from multiple ELEMENT NOT DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ITEMS IN IT AND PRACTICAL instantaneous! The access to knowledge base is realized through a "server" to which you can connect an unlimited number of "clients" as one computer can run multiple servers that are located in different folders and listen to different ports. Each server can create and access the unlimited knowledge bases and databases associated with other servers located on the Internet or Intranet. Knowledge bases managed by artificial intelligence language, such as executable code can be written as in external files and in the elements of the base. The Knowledge Base is powerful enough, it can be used for indexing web contents.
