A fresh approach to coordinate transformations
CoordinateTransformations is a Julia package to manage simple or complex networks of coordinate system transformations. Transformations can be easily applied, inverted, composed, and differentiated (both with respect to the input coordinates and with respect to transformation parameters such as rotation angle). Transformations are designed to be light-weight and efficient enough for, e.g., real-time graphical applications, while support for both explicit and automatic differentiation makes it easy to perform optimization and therefore ideal for computer vision applications such as SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping). -

G-Code Transformation Utility
Transformation utility to rotate coordinates in G-Code files
...For each reference point, travel CNC with a laser module and fine tune X/Y coordinates to target at the center of a drilled point (laser light will dim out). Write each of the measured point's coordinate with corresponding ideal (original) point coordinate into the reference point (text) file. Then use this utility with source G-Code file & measured reference file to perform transformation into a destination G-Code file. Each X/Y coordinate in "G0", "G00", "G01" commands will be rotated by a calculated angle. -

Automatic 3D Coordinate Points Generator
The project aims at generating 3D coordinates from a set of 2D images
...The algorithm which performs this transformation is broken down to several steps. First step is converting the images to grayscale. Then detecting the retro-reflective dots by the “Polygon” approach. Same dots in different images were matched by Pattern Matching algorithm. Then internal and external camera calibration was performed. Finally, the 3D Coordinate points were generated by the “Bundle Adjustment” procedure. -

N point alignment infrastructure for INDI telescope drivers
...It has been superceded by the alignment subsystem which is now part of the main INDI project. This project provides an "alignment layer" driver to sit above INDI telescope drivers. This layer performs transformation services for telescope coordinates as they pass up and down to the underlying driver. The conversion matrices are computed from alignment datums passed down into the alignment layer. The N point alignment model can be used for both equatorial and alt azimuth mounts. The alignment database and coordinate conversion functionality is isolated in a separate class library module which can also be used to provide this functionality directly to INDI telescope drivers. -
