Bringing you the freshest blends in Bass Music
An avid music collector for most of his life, Sedriss was always fascinated with disc jockeys and how they transitioned from one song to the next. With a taste for hip-hop, reggae, and rock music, he discovered electronic music and immediately wanted to dive right into mixing, blending his favorite tunes at the time for friends at house parties and renegades in his hometown of Santa Cruz. After discovering DJ’s like Hatcha, Youngsta, N-Type, and Joe Nice, he began to craft his mixing style based on how the pioneers did it, seamlessly blending the next song into the previous one. Picking up momentum in 2013, he began playing regular club nights in Santa Cruz while playing shows in San Francisco & Oakland for Ritual SF and others, opening up for the likes of Demon, Biome, Matty G, Thelem, Seven, Sleeper, Mesck, and many more. A move to Portland Oregon further propelled his DJ career after becoming a resident for a bass music weekly event, and frequently guesting on Beats Bass & Beyond curated by PDX Mandem on X-Ray FM. Drawing on his early influences like Skream, Caspa, Rusko, & Cluekid among others, he continues to push the sounds of today while still paying homage to the foundational sounds of dubstep and other genres of bass music. Today he resides in Northern California hosting a weekly radio show for sub.fm , showcasing the new sounds of underground music from a wide range of styles and bpm’s. You can also find him streaming on his Twitch channel entertaining people with smooth blends while taking the viewer on a sonic journey through bass music.
