The Buddy Holly Story

The Buddy Holly Story is 1978 American biographical movie about Buddy Holly and was directed by Steve Rash. It stars Gary Busey, Don Stroud, Charles Martin Smith, Conrad Janis, Maria Richwine and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. It was nominated for three Oscars and won one Academy Award in 1979.
