1. Agreeing to these terms
Creating an account, subscribing or using SearchSeal means you accept these terms. They form an agreement between you and Nusantara Ventures, LLC (“we”, “us”) covering searchseal.com and the SearchSeal API. You must be 18 or older. When acting for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to this agreement. In that case, “you” refers to the organisation.
2. What SearchSeal provides
SearchSeal asks AI assistants questions and saves their answers about your brand and rivals. It shows cited sources, suggests page changes and compares results before and after changes. You can also connect Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to include their data.
AI answers differ from one run to the next. Our reports reflect the answers we sampled. We do not guarantee mentions, citations or recommendations from any assistant, or better results from a suggested change. You can find the AI assistants checked by each plan on our pricing page. Their inclusion is subject to provider availability.
Paid plans include page checks and article drafts. Request checks through the dashboard, API or MCP, only on your brand’s domain or subdomains. Checks read public HTML, headers, robots.txt and llms.txt without AI. Request a new page or rewrite for a tracked question. Drafts use OpenAI research and Anthropic (Claude) writing through OpenRouter. Edit, copy or download saved drafts. When you mark a draft as published and give its live address on your domain, we fetch it once for a free check and measure the question before and after.
Paid add-ons are Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode, DeepSeek, Claude and Grok. DeepSeek, Claude and Grok add-ons answer without web search.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity on your account. You may add websites or connect accounts only if you own them or are authorised to manage them. You give us permission to access and process their data to provide SearchSeal. That permission lasts until you disconnect them or close your account.
We send account emails about your trial, plan activation, payments, cancellation and data deletion. These emails are needed to run your account and cannot be unsubscribed from. Product tips, weekly reports and alerts are optional; you can stop them using their one-click unsubscribe links without affecting account emails.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Our pricing page and checkout list plans, prices, limits and included AI assistants. We price in US dollars, excluding taxes unless stated otherwise. Any tax we do not collect is your responsibility, including reverse-charge VAT or GST.
- You pay for each month or year in advance. Plans renew automatically when each billing period ends, unless you cancel.
- Payments go through Stripe. You give us authorisation to charge your payment method for the plan and any applicable taxes.
- When your plan becomes active, we email its price, renewal date and how to cancel. For a trial, this email also gives the trial end date. Stripe sends its own payment receipts. Trial reminders and failed-payment notices come from SearchSeal.
- Upgrades take effect at once, with Stripe immediately charging the prorated difference. An upgrade during a free trial ends the trial and charges the new plan’s price. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal and are unavailable during a trial. To fit the lower plan’s limits, you may need to archive questions, rivals or brands.
- Prices may change. We give at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies to your renewal. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Monthly page checks: Starter 200, Pro 500, Max 1,000. Monthly articles: Starter 20, Pro 40, Max 80. Allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC). Unused allowances do not roll over. Failed page checks never count; failed articles count only if they have already used AI processing.
- Add-ons cost extra monthly or yearly at prices shown on our pricing page. Yearly add-ons include the same two months free as yearly plans. Stripe prorates additions and removals mid-period. Removal stops checks from the next daily check. With a booked downgrade, add-ons move to the smaller plan’s price at renewal. You cannot add them while cancellation is booked.
- A failed payment puts your account in read-only mode. We email you about the failed payment on day 0 and explain how to update your card in Settings → Billing → Manage billing. All dates count from the first failed charge of the unpaid invoice. Stripe retries your card for up to 14 days. If it stays unpaid, we send a reminder on day 7 and a final notice on day 12. Your plan is canceled on day 14, or on Stripe’s own later retry date. Your data is scheduled for deletion after day 30 following the first failed charge, whether or not you have ever paid, subject to the effective date and notice rules in section 14. The final notice gives both dates. When Stripe cancels your plan after the retries fail, we send a cancellation notice saying payment could not be collected and giving the cancellation and data deletion dates. Updating your card and paying before your plan is canceled keeps your plan and data. This failed-payment sequence stops as soon as payment succeeds, and full access returns. Subscribing again before the deletion date keeps your data. We email at least 48 hours before deletion, allow the full 48 hours and check again for a live subscription immediately before deleting, as described in section 14. Dates in our emails are shown in your time zone, for example “October 30”.
5. Trying Starter for free
- Starter includes a 7-day free trial. You must provide a card to begin.
- Your card is charged the Starter price at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. After that, the plan renews automatically. To cancel during your trial, go to Settings → Billing → Manage billing.
- We email you a trial reminder three days before your first charge. It states the price, the charge date and how to cancel before you are charged.
- Trials are limited to one per customer. If we reasonably believe a trial repeats an earlier one, we may refuse or end it. No other plan includes a trial.
- Add-ons are inactive during the 7-day free trial. Selected add-ons start and are billed when the trial becomes a paid plan.
6. Cancelling and getting a refund
- Cancel whenever you wish in Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation stops renewal; your plan remains active for the rest of the period already paid for, or until your free trial ends if you cancel during the trial. Your plan ends when that access ends. We email a cancellation confirmation stating the date your access ends and the date after which your data will be deleted. We keep your data for 30 days after access ends, then delete it, whether or not you have ever paid. Subscribing again before the deletion date keeps your data. This rule applies to plans that end on or after the version 3.3 effective date and includes at least 48 hours’ email notice and a check for a live subscription immediately before deletion, as described in section 14.
- EU and UK consumers can withdraw within 14 days of their first payment by emailing support@searchseal.com. Since the service begins immediately at your request, the refund deducts the part of the period you have already used.
- All other payments are non-refundable unless a refund is required by law or corrects a billing error we made. This includes partly used periods and yearly plans cancelled early.
- If we end the service for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we refund any prepaid time you have not used.
7. Tokens and connected services
Use API tokens only for data in your own account. You must keep them secret and are responsible for their use. We may limit the request rate or revoke tokens if they are abused or threaten the service. Google, Microsoft and other connected services also have their own terms, which apply when you use them.
8. Rules for using SearchSeal
You must not use SearchSeal in any unlawful way or to infringe anyone’s rights. Do not add or connect sites or accounts without authority to manage them, attempt to access another customer’s data, or bypass limits, billing or security. Do not overload, probe or disrupt the service, resell access without our written permission, or build a competing dataset from SearchSeal output. Breaking these rules may lead to account suspension.
9. Rights to your data
Data you provide and data we collect for you remain yours. You permit us to process it only to deliver, secure and support SearchSeal, as set out in our Privacy policy. To improve the service, we may use aggregated information that identifies neither you nor your brands. You can delete your data in Settings and request a copy by emailing support@searchseal.com.
10. Ownership of SearchSeal
We or our licensors own SearchSeal, including its software, design and brand. Fix suggestions and drafts we generate for you are yours to use on your own sites.
11. Service updates
Features, integrations and AI assistants may be added, changed or removed. We give reasonable notice when a material change reduces what your plan includes. If your paid plan is materially reduced, you can cancel and receive a refund for unused prepaid time.
12. Warranties and accuracy
We supply SearchSeal “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law permits, we exclude all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI answers and third-party data may arrive late, contain errors or be incomplete. SearchSeal output is no guarantee of rankings, citations, traffic or revenue.
Article drafts are machine-written and may contain mistakes and [bracketed placeholders] for missing facts. You must check drafts and are responsible for anything you publish. We do not guarantee rankings, AI citations or changed results.
13. Limits on our liability
As far as the law permits, we accept no liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or losses of profit, revenue, data or opportunities. For any claim, our total liability cannot exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. If you paid nothing, the limit is US$100.
14. Suspending or closing accounts
You may close your account whenever you wish. We may suspend or close it for breaking these terms, failing to pay, any security risk or behaving in a way that harms the service or others. Any sections intended by their nature to survive account closure remain in effect.
When your plan ends, we keep your brands, scan results, saved fixes and before/after proof for 30 days, then delete them. This applies to every account, whether or not it has ever paid. For voluntary cancellation, including a free trial, the plan ends when access ends at the end of the paid period or trial. Failed payments follow a different timeline: data is scheduled for deletion after day 30 following the first failed charge of the unpaid invoice, as described in section 4. Subscribing again before the deletion date keeps your data. We email you at least 48 hours before deletion. We never delete without sending that notice and allowing the full 48 hours. A late notice moves deletion later. Immediately before deleting, we check again that there is no live subscription. This data-deletion rule applies only to plans that end on or after the version 3.3 effective date, the day customer email is switched on. Data from plans that ended earlier is not affected by this rule.
When you delete your account in Settings, we email a confirmation. Your sign-in record remains until you ask support@searchseal.com to remove it.
15. Applicable law and courts
The laws of the State of Delaware, United States, govern this agreement, excluding conflict-of-law rules. State or federal courts in Delaware hear disputes unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
16. Updates to these terms
Revised terms appear here with a new version and date. We notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before material changes apply to paid plans. Continuing to use SearchSeal after those changes take effect means you accept them.
