Rock Identify provides photo-based, provisional information. It is not a laboratory analysis, authentication, appraisal, safety assessment, or professional geological advice.

Do not scratch, heat, acid-test, break, or otherwise damage an unknown specimen based on a photo result. Follow local rules when collecting rocks, minerals, fossils, or meteorites.

Use only photos you are allowed to share. Service limits and temporary retention are described on the identifier and privacy pages.

All tools share the same plan allowance. A completed uncertain result uses one identification, while a technical failure releases its reservation. Additional photos or observations reviewed as a supplement use one identification.

Current prices, billing periods, renewal, allowances and refund policy appear on the pricing page before checkout. A subscription renews until cancelled through billing. Cancellation and refunds have different effects on paid access; contact support for an order or refund question. Saved records remain readable and exportable after downgrade.
