You might know Matt Sonzala as the blogger/radio host who helped the Houston hip-hop scene to explode, or you may know him as the guy who expanded hip-hop’s presence at SXSW. Either way, Sonzala says that 2019 has even bigger surprises in store.
Matt Sonzala is a world class project manager with a resume as long as the Mississippi River, but not as dirty. His strongest work traits are music tour booking and managing, and as a fixer for almost anything. He has worked on finding locations, characters and unique stories for documentaries including but not limited to the Netflix series Hip Hop Evolution and Red Bull’s Wanton Bishops documentary.
Matt was one of the main consultants for the creation of the Red Bull Sound Select program and continues to connect bands with brands every day.
