Terrible customer support

Terrible customer support. Products made in Portugal? No thanks! They sell them and then don't have replacement parts. I bought it from a shop in Portugal, owned by a man named Tiago. I discovered that the manufacturers of the cockpits resolve problems, but the sellers don't. When they discover that the customer's problem is the replacement of parts, they stop answering the phone. Regardless of the specific problem caused by the missing part, which is irrelevant, a good customer service department should consider the customer's history and previous purchases at the store, especially since the salesperson knows exactly who they sold to and what they sold, given the numerous in-store and phone contacts. A store to avoid!

​We would like to clarify the facts regarding your situation, as we believe this review does not accurately reflect the extensive support and goodwill we extended to you.
​The Initial Issue: You initially contacted Simetik, and subsequently reached out to our reseller in Portugal through Mr. Tiago. Your original issue was with a set of pedals from another brand (Fanatec). When sending those pedals for technical support, you accidentally included a pair of crossbars belonging to your cockpit. The pedal brand's support team unfortunately discarded those parts and did not return them to you.
​Our Extra-Mile Support: Although we were not responsible for the lost parts, you contacted us asking if we could provide a replacement pair. These specific parts are not sold separately on our website, as they only come integrated with full cockpit kits. To help you resolve a problem caused by a third party, we exceptionally agreed to manufacture a replacement pair for you during our next production run.
​The Model Discrepancy: You informed us that you owned a K1 cockpit. We explicitly explained that we would have to wait for the next K1 production batch to make these parts, as manufacturing a single custom pair outside of a production run would be financially unfeasible. However, when the parts were ready, it was discovered that your cockpit was actually a K2R (a model no longer in production), which you could have easily verified via the identification plate stamped on the cockpit itself.
​Our Solution: The custom K1 parts we produced are now useless to us. Despite this, we still offered to manufacture the correct parts for your K2R during a future production run of similar components, explaining that this would take some time.
​We went completely out of our way to manufacture custom, non-retail parts to fix an issue we did not cause, only to be met with an incorrect model description and, ultimately, this unfair review claiming "no assistance was given."
​Consequently, we must inform you that the planned production of the K2R replacement parts for you has been permanently cancelled.
​We wish you the best of luck in resolving your setup issues elsewhere.

Update auf Simetiks Wunsch:
Patryk und ich sind gestern die Strecke von Linz nach Felixstowe gefahren. Zuerst bin ich von Neapel nach Linz gefahren und Patryk von Belgrad nach Linz. Wir trafen uns dort bei der UPS. Patryk hat sich auf der Autobahn völlig verfahren und mein Drehzahlmesser ging die ganze Zeit runter. Jetzt beginnt die Magie. Patryk fuhr mit einem Mercedes vor und verließ die Firma mit einem Magnum und einem Tanklastwagen. Die Strecke von Linz nach Deutschland verlief problemlos. Zugeknöpft 80, Tore durch auf der rechten Seite. Wir nähern uns dem Höhepunkt. In der Nähe von Osnabrück fahre ich mit meinem Man F2000 (auf Kredit) zuerst, und Patryk folgt mir mit seinem Mercedes. Wir passieren Osnabrück rechts und ich höre etwas knirschen. Über das CB-Funkgerät schreit Patryk „fuck, fuck, fuck“ und man kann hören, wie in der Kabine alles zusammenfällt. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es sich um einen Simetik-Rahmen handelte. Telefon, Tastatur und Maus fielen herunter und Patryk fiel aus der Anlage. Er hat alles vom Boden aufgesammelt, hatte aber Angst, weiter nach England zu gehen und wir stehen immer noch in der Nähe von Osnabrück. Zum Glück ist der Zahnriemen beim Mercedes intakt. Was sollten wir als nächstes tun?

Hello Werpet. Sorry but we have no idea about what you are talking about. Which Simétik products do you have, and what's your order number. For sure there's a big misunderstanding here.

Extremely satisfied.

Happy to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with Simetik. I did not purchase trough their website since I'm outside EU and there is a reseller in the country that I live. However even before my purchase I did send them a few emails with questions which were promptly replied, always clear and concise.
After receiving the cockpit I also had some questions which again were replied quite fast as well as with some help due to a reseller's mistake.
A trustable company with a very satisfying after sales support.

Absolutely Fine

The ordering process is clear and works without any problems. It is somewhat unfortunate that the VAT is only displayed at the end of the ordering process, but you are constantly informed about this exact fact, so you shouldn't be negatively surprised. The goods were shipped from Portugal to Germany within 14 days, which I consider reasonable.
The goods themselves arrived excellently packaged. With this sophisticated packaging concept, Simetik ensures that the goods reach the buyer undamaged. All parts were excellently deburred and processed. The drill holes fit exactly. The screws supplied are of very good quality and are more than plentiful. Assembly is really easy thanks to the assembly videos and the labeling of the screw bags depending on the assembly step. All parts are extremely solid so that the Simrig can really be described as torsion-resistant.
I can absolutely recommend Simetik.

Dear Reinhard, Your order was placed on November 28th, and shipped on the December 5th (4th working day, considering there was a holiday in our country). Shipping took another 4 woking days (considering there was also an holiday in your contry), being delivered on December 12th. All your emails and facebook messages were answered. These are facts!
That being said:
1- Where are the 3 weeks you are talking about?
2- Which emails or messages we didn't answer?
3- Why should we assume the costs of an express shipping service,(which we proposed for extra 29€ and you didn't even respond yes or no) when it was all shipped according to what's predicted on our terms and conditions?

Nice company with nearly perfect products.

Service and delivery are very good. Very good packaging so nothing is damaged. Perfect product quality. Good handling. Its a litle bit tricky with the alignement of the parts together. But at the end monitors are perfectly leveld.

Great products, great customer service

Great products, great customer service! Nuno was very helpful and managed to come up with a great solution for my edge case. I really appreciated his commitment to deliver the very best products to his customers. Every time I unbox their product, I can immediately see the effort and dedication they put into it. My sim rig is so robust that the only thing that shakes is my house! Thanks Simétik!
