Guided Spain tours created a fun and adventurous tour schedule for a recent trip to Madrid, Sevilla and Toledo. The tour guides were all experienced and fluent in multiple languages which made communication and our overall experience fabulous. They listened to our asks for local Historical sites and shopping! At the very beginning, many tour companies requested to book our hotels and flights. Once they know that we already booked our own hotels and flights, they refused to work with us. Guided Portugal was extremely flexible. They are happy to work with our plans (we have special travel requests from teenagers to grandma), give good recommendations, booked all the tickets ahead of schedule, and assign amazing drivers and tour guides throughout our trip to support our travel plans in every possible way.

Every single one of our tour guides are amazing. Every day was filled with pleasant surprises. All guides assigned were very prompt, considerate, professional, super helpful and tried their best to make our experiences the best possible. They made our trip so memorable. We are truly thankful!

We particularly want to mention Mr. Jose Miguel Muchacho as a tour guide. He was an amazing guide who led our tour in the Algarve in Portugal. He is so considerate, professional, and creative. He helped managed the needs of a 81-year-old grandma (who does not like beach) and 18-year-old teenagers (who loves to do all water activates). It was not easy. He came up flexible and creative plans to make everyone make happy memories of things they enjoy doing.

Thank you again for such a beautiful experiences you have brought to us. We will definitely return to Portugal for future visits and recommend Guided Portugal to all of our friends. We want to thank Emily, Marta, all the amazing tour guides we have met on our trip. Thank you!

A few weeks before departing on holiday from Australia we found that we needed to organise some activities in Spain for about five days, between two booked tours. We cannot speak Spanish and had little idea of the options available.
Searching the internet we came across Guided Spain Tours and established contact. Our requirements and interests were quickly identified and after some fine-tuning an attractive itinerary was selected. The company organised a driver and vehicle, arranged guides, accommodation and some meals.
We were not sure what to expect but were delighted to find that everything worked out well. We were thrilled with the hotels selected, we had some memorable meals, wine tastings and even an excellent Spanish cooking class. Our immersive exposure to the history, culture, architecture and countryside of Spain made a deep impression and we were very sorry when our tour came to an end. Throughout the journey Paula was helpful with support and guidance.

We wanted to explore Asturias and Galicia and came across Guided Spain. Emily was great in helping to come up with some ideas and even managed to come up with an itinerary that included the Basque Country which we thought would be something we might not be able to do on the same trip. Communication between Guided Spain and me both before and during the trip were excellent. I appreciated the daily WhatsApp updates and any questions were always addressed promptly. Transfer arrangements were smooth and the hotels that were arranged for us were comfortable and centrally located in each of the cities we visited. The local guides that met us at our various stops were knowledgeable and provided us with excellent insight. They showed us places that we would have never found on our own. I would not hesitate to use Guided Spain again on future trips to Spain.

We had a wonderful 8 days in Portugal. Working with Guided Spain/Portugal helped us relax and enjoy the experience. The tours and accommodations were great and daily communication with the staff was so excellent. We had never traveled this way before and weren’t sure what to expect, but now we are spoiled. I was initially trying to build a custom trip with tours on many of the days. It was exhausting and frustrating. Through this I began a search for a concierge style service. I found that with Guided Spain. My first call with Sarah put my mind at ease. She helped to take all of my input on what I would like to see and do and through a few calls we had a brilliant itinerary built. She was so helpful. Next came all the wonderful support form Olha, Marta and Ana who helped address any questions I had through the trip. They provided daily updates and reminders through a WhatsApp chat. Spain and Portugal, 16 days, 3 couples.
We can’t say enough good things about Emily and her colleagues at Guided Spain Tours. The tour was set up to begin in Madrid, visit the towns in southern Spain then move on to Lisbon, Porto and the Douro Valley. We requested adding a drive to the Algarve and a trip to Fatima and the tour team did that without blinking an eye. The communication was phenomenal and made us feel looked after and safe. The guides and drivers were knowledgeable and personable.

We took a custom tour curated by Guided Spain tours and this was our second time travelling with them after they arranged our Spain trip 3 years ago- this time we went to Portugal , Morocco, Paris and Amsterdam and we had a wonderful time - throughout the entire process , Emily and team- Cristina, Ana , Marta, Paula and the entire team was highly knowledge, prompt and efficient before, and during the tour - it was only because of this team that we were able to see so many places that are not typically done in a group tour. They took note of our preferences, and designed the tour accordingly - whether going to the Medinas of Marrakech, Fado show in Portugal, or seeing the caves in Algarve region . All of the guides and drivers were knowledgeable and hand picked by South ole - Jose for Algarve portion , Joao for the Lisbon area , driver Adel in Paris , and of course Yousef in Morocco. I also want to especially thank Guided Spain for all of the help last year as we had originally planned this trip for last year, but due to a health emergency we had to cancel at the last minute two days before departure - during that time Emily and team swiftly took action and were able to salvage the majority of the amount paid as a travel credit - this kind of service is unprecedented as usually two days before the tour starts, it is not expected that the payment can be salvaged . We can not thank Emily enough . We highly recommend this team not only for Spain but for Europe and look forward to travelling with them again in future !
