Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Takedown Policy

Planet Cert respects the intellectual property rights of certification vendors and all third parties. We are committed to responding promptly to any claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Overview

Planet Cert is an independent exam preparation platform. We do not host, distribute, or reproduce actual certification exam questions from any vendor. Our practice questions are independently authored by Planet Cert — some of which may be AI-generated — and are based on publicly available exam syllabi, objectives, and study guides published by the respective certification vendors.

All certification names, exam titles, syllabi, objectives, trademarks, and logos referenced on this platform are the copyrighted property of their respective owners. Planet Cert is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any certification vendor.

If you believe that any content on our platform infringes upon your copyright, we encourage you to notify us so that we can take appropriate action.

Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance

Planet Cert takes the following measures to ensure copyright compliance:

1. No Exam Dumps: We do not host, sell, or distribute actual exam questions obtained from any certification vendor's live examinations. Our content is not sourced from exam dumps, brain dumps, or any other form of illegally obtained exam material.

2. Independent Content Creation: All practice questions are independently authored by Planet Cert or generated with the assistance of AI, then reviewed for accuracy. Questions are designed to test knowledge of publicly documented exam objectives — they are not copies or derivatives of actual exam questions.

3. Vendor Attribution: We give full credit and attribution to all certification vendors and trademark holders. We reference vendor names, exam codes, and syllabus topics solely for identification and educational purposes.

4. Ongoing Review: We regularly review our content to ensure continued compliance with copyright laws and vendor guidelines. If a vendor updates or retires an exam, we update our materials accordingly.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on Planet Cert infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., the specific exam question, syllabus content, or other material).

3. Identification of the material on our platform that is claimed to be infringing, including a URL or sufficient detail to locate the content.

4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.

5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Send your DMCA takedown notice to: [email protected]

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Planet Cert will promptly investigate the claim and, if warranted, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.

3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Planet Cert may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.

Send your counter-notification to: [email protected]

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, Planet Cert will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringers

Planet Cert maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
