I placed an order on Sunday the 13th and received a confirmation. I’ve had a couple of other emails since all saying the it’s ready for delivery with no changes in tracking information. I called today and their phone number seems to be disconnected and I’ve emailed them this morning and haven’t received a reply. I’m assuming I’ve been scammed at this point. Very disappointed.

My order came and the sizes were way off. I couldn’t even get them on. I contacted the company for a refund. They offered a 50% refund. I said no. I took it up with PayPal and they didn’t do anything. So after hearing from PayPal I was unable to reach Mayberry. My emails were now undeliverable. So Mayberry just kept my $85+ that I spent. This is unacceptable. NEVER ordered from this company.

Beware of this fraud business. All their shoes are junk from China. It says Orthopedic but they are not. The sizes are incorrect too. They emailed back saying, "The sizes may vary based on design" and to return the item they want us to send it back to China and they want to charge 15% restocking fee, for the item they send us incorrect.
I have never in my life dealt with a business this fraudulent.

Beware! All their merchandise is from! Junk! Shoes advertised as orthopedic..not! Hurt my feet! Free 30 day return a lie! You have to pay the postage and restock fee plus they don’t guarantee it will get there so you have to insure the package ! Don’t shop here you’ll regret it! I give them a zero!

Don’t order it, waited a long time to get my delivery come to find out every single piece of clothing was see through including the jackets… for the price I paid I should’ve gone to Nordstrom or a better store. Don’t recommend.

I still have not received my order. I ordered well over a few weeks ago and it hasn't even shipped. Also I can check for any updates and their website is unable to load like WTF. I spent my hard earned money on this trash.

Extremely disappointed in quality of shoes and boots I ordered.. saw them through the plastic bag and didn’t even try on.. clothing sized improperly.. I can’t believe I was scammed again.. the second time.. won’t happen again.. will no longer order without reading reviews.. reviews on this site about returns are so bad I will donate these things rather than go through the hassle and expense of returning.. horrible experience.. don’t order and think your going to be the lucky one who gets something decent from them…they are too suspect!!

I received a pair of sandals that are TOO big & doesn’t match description/images from website. I’ve emailed Mayberry for a confirmation # & return policy on 7/14 & still have not heard back. Very frustrated 😠

Scam company - they have a 30 Minute cancellation policy (you have 30 minutes to cancel after you order).

My wife has been trying to cancel and even though it was ordered last week and hasn’t shipped - they won’t cancel the order.

The online listing I purchased from stated "Free Returns" and presented Mayberry as an American company selling American-made products. That is not what I experienced.
The products I received were shipped from China and were extremely poor quality. They looked nothing like I expected based on the advertising and were not worth what I paid.
When I requested a return, I was told I would have to pay expensive international shipping to China and additional fees to receive a full refund. The only alternative Mayberry offered was a 60% refund if I kept merchandise I did not want.
I contacted the company multiple times and gave them every opportunity to make this right. They refused to issue a full refund.
If I had known the products were coming from China, that "Free Returns" would require me to pay international return shipping, and that the quality would be this poor, I never would have placed this order. I will never buy from Mayberry again, and I strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere.
Be aware they are selling under names of multiple companies. JJ, Mayberry, Velorea & Co, Mayberry North Carolina, Kate and Wendy, Walnut Grove, Luuza, and others. If the styles, quality, and prices look too good to be true and they state they are an American owned company with American-made products-BEWARE! It is all the same company in China producing garbage merchandise.

Not connected to North Carolina. Returns not no hassle! Read the small print before purchasing. Then don't buy. Cheap clothing. The first shirt didn't fit. Return involved lots of money and custom duty to China. I opted for store credit, but the second shirt was terrible.

I placed an order for a pair of sandals. Before they arrived I was asked to write a review in exchange for a 50% discount. I did so and had to go through hoops only to receive a credit toward a future purchase. Not what I expected. Once the sandals arrived they were not comfortable. I have requested a return authorization twice, but both emails have failed to deliver. Very suspicious.

Although I found the shoes that I wanted and ordered them, the emails that the company sent confirming the order had links to non-existent pages, tracking my order from their website showed that my order couldn't be found and calling their customer service resulted in a dead ring. I am canceling my order with my credit card company. Can't believe I fell for this!

I ordered four pairs of orthopedic shoes for my sister from Mayberry North Carolina on May 26, 2026, after seeing them advertised as supportive, comfortable footwear that was on sale. Unfortunately, the products I received were very different from what was shown and described online.
The shoes arrived about two weeks after ordering, but they were shipped in a sealed grocery-type bag rather than proper retail packaging. Once opened, it was clear the shoes did not match the website’s product images or descriptions.
The colors were different from what was displayed online, the materials appeared low quality, and the shoes did not provide the orthopedic support advertised. They lacked proper cushioning, were not wide as represented, and were uncomfortable to wear.
When I contacted Mayberry North Carolina, the response was not reasonable. I was offered only limited options: keep the shoes for a small refund, accept store credit, or return the shoes to Guangdong, China at my own expense while also paying approximately $83 in international shipping and a 15% restocking fee.
In my opinion, this is an unacceptable return process for products that were not as advertised. Requiring expensive international return shipping and a restocking fee makes it very difficult for customers to receive a meaningful refund.
I would caution other buyers to be very careful before ordering from Mayberry North Carolina. Based on my experience, the product quality, advertising accuracy, packaging, and return process were all disappointing. I am still seeking a full refund to my original payment method without being required to pay international return shipping or a restocking fee.

Please be aware that Mayberry shoes are a scam. The shoes is cheaply made cheap quality and I received are materially different from the shoes advertised on your website. The advertised images show a well-constructed shoe with a premium appearance and quality materials. The shoes I received are made with thin, cheap-looking material, have unfinished edges, wrinkled straps, poor craftsmanship, and do not resemble the advertised product. The quality is unacceptable, and the product does not match the description or photos on your website. I am requesting a full refund because the item received is not as advertised.

Do not order from this company.
They are not trustworthy.
I ordered and paid for three blouses, which were never delivered.
I have notified Visa of the fraud and asked to have my money refunded to me.

Terrible! This company is a sham. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are not in NC as they claim. They are overseas somewhere. Items ship from China and are incredibly poor quality. When I attempted to return I was told I had to pay to ship items back to Asia and pay a 15% restocking fee. This was after waiting 3 plus weeks for my order to even arrive. Horrible. They are running a scam.

Mayberry claims to be a store based in North Carolina. That claim seems to be untrue. While the clothing looks nice on the website, the dresses that arrived look nothing like the photographs on the website. The dresses I received are shapeless and made of extremely low-quality fabrics. Furthermore, they arrived after a wait of more than three weeks. Last week, I couldn’t even track my order because the website was down for more than 24 hours. I could not contact customer service during that time because their email address is attached to the website that went down. The clothes arrived in a small package and were labeled as being from the website temu.com. I cannot return the clothes because they were sent without a return label.

There is no star deserving of this company. It is SO BAD. I’ve never experienced a worse experience purchasing on line. Complete misrepresentation of the clothing item. I waited a long time to get 4 tshirts that I purchased because I thought they were light weight cotton with 3/4 sleeves. They Are Not cotton nor lightweight. Horrible fabric and crappy design - sleeves too small for the Large size ordered.
I feel scammed - can’t imagine getting a refund - so DON’T trust this company. There are far better places at good price points.
Can’t express how disappointed I am for having done business with Mayberry et al.

Beautiful photos of the dresses. I only wish the actual dresses looked that good. Sad. I was looking forward to wearing the dresses at a wedding. Wasn't worth trying to return for refund.
Donated instead. Will not be buying again. And any of the other vendor that uses the same business model.
