The Open Graph and Twitter Card Checker reads the social sharing tags on a page. It checks og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, og:type and twitter:card, and measures the og:title length against 70 characters. A missing title, description or image is a fail, and the headline counts how many tags need attention. Each tag shows its value.

The headline says the link preview is complete or counts the tags that are missing. Each tag has its own row showing the value found.
If the page has a site name tag, it appears as a stat above the checks.
Title length passes at 70 characters or fewer. Most platforms cut titles around that point. The tool reads the tags and does not load the image, so check that the image URL opens and is the size you want.
| Tag | If missing | What to set |
|---|---|---|
| og:title | Fail | The title shown on the preview card |
| og:description | Fail | One or two sentences about the page |
| og:image | Fail | The full URL of the preview image |
| og:url | Warning | The canonical URL of the page |
| og:type | Warning | website or article |
| twitter:card | Warning | summary_large_image for a large image card |
Add the missing tags to the head of the page. Most CMS platforms and SEO plugins have fields for them. When og:title is missing, platforms fall back to the page title, and a page with no og:image usually shows a plain link.
