MY entire blogging history covers two MySpace accounts, four Blogger sites, a Fortune City blog, and a Xynga account. As MySpace became overshadowed by Facebook, and the other blogging platforms proved to not stack up to Blogger, I transferred the important stuff, condensing it down and placing it between three Blogger sites: Random Ramblings, For God so Loved the World…, and Project Sledgehammer. It was around this time that I decided to experiment with WordPress, and started this site. When I finally decided to commit to using WordPress and leave Blogger behind, the three previously mentioned Blogger sites became the three main categories of this site. In fact, the titles and descriptions of each of these three categories corresponds exactly to the title and tag line of each of those three original blogs.
- Random Ramblings: My views on anything, everything, and occasionally nothing.
- For God so Loved the World: that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. – John 3:16 (Looking at life through faith-colored glasses.)
- Project Sledgehammer: All things tech.
Since that initial merger, I have moved all categories under one overarching category, called “All Posts”. I’ve also added a category for my responses to various writing prompts and challenges. The biggest change, though is that I have gone “nuclear” and wiped all that came before from my blog. I’ve archived it away for my own personal reference, and may occasionally decide to bring some of it back, but I needed a fresh start.
