The Seebeck route fails its first known-answer controls

Control test of the Seebeck prediction route on TiNiSn and TiCoSb fails by an order of magnitude; the route's ALIGNN band-gap branch is also down today. Absolute Seebeck values are not decision-useful until controls pass.

Thermoelectrics API v2: first-principles Seebeck that passes its controls

ALIGNN is gone. Seebeck now comes from BoltzTraP2 on spin-orbit DFT bands, both half-Heusler controls pass, and a full ZT run takes about 10 minutes.

α″-Fe16N2 computed against measured: 230 emu/g on the ideal cell, 165 emu/g in a real powder, and the one number still missing

A DFT-trained model on the measured cell says 230 emu/g. Two 2025 papers brought new measured numbers for the phase. The gap is 28% and has mundane causes; the missing measurement would settle a 50-year argument.

Prophet predicts antiferromagnetism for every NiAs-type magnet we tested, and MnBi shows where the exchange goes missing

Prophet vs PBE on five NiAs-type compounds and six rare-earth-free ferromagnets: ground states, exchange shells, and Monte Carlo Curie temperatures.
