RUN SCREAMING away from these guys. 100% Fraudsters. They damaged almost every single item we had them move and store for us. The storage units were particle board boxes, into which our belongs were just shoved - no protection, no blankets,... they put unsecured boxes into a cabinet, laid the cabinet on it's side, and literally slid it along the floor of the storage box - no blanket or soft flooring - to the back. All sides of the cabinet are scraped or have large gouges in them. When we went to pull out the cabinet, the door fell open and our pots and pans fell out.
The warehouse they use claims to be a separate entity, unrelated to and appalled by Expert Movers. Yet all of the containers are the particle board boxes, most are open with items half falling out.
We picked up our stuff, because Expert Movers couldn't get a truck to deliver, and the warehouse owner tried to get us to also pay him. Threatened to lock the gate and not let us leave if we didn't pay. We pushed back and said "sure, send us a bill" so we could leave. Now they are threatening lawyers if we don't pay them, too.
Save yourself the stress. These people are criminals.

despite all of the other bad reviews i spoke with the owner about the other bad reviews, he promised me that it was a single disappointed customer that had left many bad reviews. he was very convincing so i decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I said at the start of the comunications that i didnt want any bad surprises because i hear bad stories about other companies. he assured me that the price was fixed and the time and man power was more than enough to do the job at the promised price. I invited him to my home to check and described all the things that needed moving in each room.
despite this with the 2nd delivery of the day the guys sat with my thing in the van with a simple message "pay extra now, or we dont open the van"
do no trust them do not use them.

Extremely negative experience with Expert Movers.

I had only requested a quotation and never signed any contract, confirmed the service by email, or made any advance payment. Despite this, I received a full invoice for a total amount for a service that was never actually carried out and confirmed.

The situation escalated further when representatives of the company came directly to my home demanding immediate payment of the invoice. During the incident I was pushed, intimidated, and my private property was entered without permission. They refused to leave until the police arrived.

There is an official police report regarding the incident, and there were witnesses present who can confirm what happened.

After my lawyer sent a formal cease-and-desist letter and formally disputed the invoice, requesting its withdrawal due to the absence of any valid contract, the company completely stopped contacting me.

Based on my personal experience, the company’s behavior was completely unacceptable and I strongly advise extreme caution before dealing with this business.

Unfortunately, my experience with this moving company was extremely disappointing.

I initially hired them to deliver moving boxes in preparation for my move. The delivery date had been agreed in advance, and I had clearly explained that it was important for the boxes to arrive on that specific day. However, despite waiting the entire day, the boxes never arrived.

After the deposit was paid, communication became extremely difficult. Emails and phone calls went unanswered, both on the scheduled delivery day and during the following days while I was still trying to confirm the move itself.

Then, on the actual moving day, I suddenly received a message saying they were on their way at the time they had originally proposed. By that point, due to the complete lack of communication and reliability, I informed them that I would no longer be using their services.

I was then told that my deposit would be reimbursed immediately, but only if I left a positive Google review first. Despite this promise, I have still not received either the refund or any further response.

I normally avoid writing negative reviews, but I genuinely cannot recommend this company!

We paid a €50 deposit for this company to come on April 25th, between 12:00 - 13:00. They didn't show up, didn't call, and didn't answer any of the calls that I made asking where they were.

I have since contacted them numerous times asking for our €50 back, and they continue to ignore any attempts at communication.

It's worth mentioning that they aggressively reached out to me to book their services. When I told them we needed help moving because I'm 8 months pregnant, they reassured me they would be more than happy to help and make it as stress-free as possible. That clearly wasn't the case, since I waited for them to show up all of Saturday, April 25th.

Fortunately I was able to call Vrolijk Verhuizen and they were very sympathetic to the fact we'd been scammed by expert movers, and kind enough to fit us in today. Save yourself the €50, time wasted waiting, and stress by using a reputable company that will show up - or at least have the decency to tell you they're cancelling.

I really wish I could give this company a higher score because at the beginning, their sales team was friendly, responsive, and helped me find a package that worked with our needs, quick timeline, and budget. Ultimately, however, I cannot say my experience with expert movers was positive as I had too many issues to ignore.

All in all, I would recommend going with someone else. It’s not worth it and I wish I took more time finding another provider.

Our move itself was quoted for 13 hours, however it only took 12. Still, one of the movers was complaining it was taking too long, he was tired of moving things, and he was not going to move our furniture into different rooms because he was done with it, despite our package including moving furniture into specific rooms.

Another issue I had was the packing of our items. Day 1 was supposed to include packaging our items and day 2 was set to be the move itself. The first day they left quite early because they ran out of boxes, but assured us that the remaining items we pointed out to them would be packed the next day and moved. The next day they refused to pack them and we were left hiring a second moving company later to move the remaining objects.

The third issue is the treatment of our plants. I would highly recommend you not let them touch your plants if you decide to use them. They packed them like they packed anything else- shoved in boxes with other items packed ontop. Many plants died, all had to be repotted due to soil loss from being dumped upside, sideways, or packed separately from their pots… one plant in particular was put in the moving van with a very large very heavy mirror placed on top of it. When we arrived at the end destination the plant was in pieces and the movers acted confused as to how that could happen.

Another issue I ran into was the box rental system. You do not own the boxes used during the move- you rent them. You are meant to hold onto the boxes for the team to pick up and use again. This is fine in theory, except it lead to many boxes breaking open and spilling contents everywhere during the move. Additionally the team has still refused to pick up the boxes. I have been told now on six different occasions that they would come to collect them, and they have failed every single time. I have spoken to three separate people about this and they all blame each other. Ultimately, they have all failed and I have an entryway full of boxes that I now need to rent a dumpster or a large van to get rid of. I have spent too many days waiting at home for a team who has failed to come and do what they say time and time again.

The last issue I have is the failure to return my keys. I provided keys for the team to enter the building so I would not have to buzz them in over and over again over the course of the day. At the end the drove off with my keys and have still not returned them. They continue to reassure me that my keys are “safe with them”, yet have failed to return them to me for over 2 weeks now. Additionally, I am now stuck paying for a new key fob, key, and lock because they refuse to pay the fee or return the keys.
