  • 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗷𝗱𝗲𝗻 👷♀️🦺 Working safely and getting home safely at the end of the day, that is what we strive for at Sif. For Cindy van der Heijden, SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) Coordinator in Roermond, that starts with looking out for one another. “One incident is one too many,” Cindy says. When you see someone working in an unsafe situation, speaking up is important. But how we start that conversation matters too. Instead of simply repeating the rules, asking why can open up a real dialogue. “Listening to one another does not mean you agree with what someone is doing. It gives that person the chance to explain their actions. From there, you can explain why a situation is unsafe and what needs to be done differently.” For Cindy, a strong safety culture is about more than procedures, toolbox talks and systems. It is about behaviour: staying alert, stepping out of automatic pilot and taking unsafe situations seriously. “We have to do this together. A risk-free life does not exist, but we must do everything we can to minimise risks. ‘Just quickly?’ That really is no longer an option.” It’s stories like Cindy’s that show how safety is shaped every day, by the people behind Sif. #Sif #WeMakeSif

  • 𝗔 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱! 🍟 Today, a chip van from OranjeWind (joint venture between RWE and TotalEnergies) is visiting our colleagues at Sif in Roermond and Maasvlakte 2. The visit is a thank-you for their hard work and contribution to the OranjeWind offshore wind project. In Roermond, the top sections have already been completed, while production of the bottom sections is still ongoing. At Maasvlakte 2, our teams are working hard on the remaining production work for the 53 monopiles. Located approximately 53 kilometres off the coast of IJmuiden, the OranjeWind windfarm is expected to generate 795 MW of offshore wind power. A great gesture of appreciation for everyone contributing to this project. Thank you, OranjeWind! 🌊 💨

I would like to thank everyone who has been part of my 8 year journey as CEO of Sif. To my colleagues, customers, suppliers, shareholders, supervisory board members and partners; Big thanks for the trust, support and collaboration! This is not a goodbye. Until the end of January 2027, I will remain fully committed to Sif as Advisor to the Executive Board, supporting the Executive Team on all the important topics on the agenda in today’s dynamic market . So, no farewells, just a different role. I look forward continuing to work with the team and help to build Sif's future during this next phase for me at Sif. In conclusion; Full speed ahead towards an energy independent and green Europe!

  • Today, Sif published its financial results for the first half of 2026, showing a significant improvement in performance. 📈 Contribution increased by 67% to €135 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose to €43 million, compared with €13 million in the first half of 2025. We also improved our health and safety KPIs. 🦺 These results confirm the safe and successful ramp-up of our newly expanded production facility. With strong ambitions for offshore wind across the EU and UK, our near-term priorities remain securing the order book for 2027 and 2028 and strengthening the company’s cash position. 🌊 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 ⬇️

𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀: 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 🌍 At Sif, we contribute to the energy transition by producing foundations that help make offshore wind possible. But ESG is not only about what we make. It is also about how we make it. Meet Gloria van Rijthoven Reina, ESG Coordinator at Sif. In her role, she connects people, information and actions across the company. “I help bring ESG topics together and work with colleagues from different departments across the organisation.” Originally from Colombia, Gloria’s career has taken her through different countries, cultures and professions. She started as an English teacher, later became a lawyer and completed two master’s degrees, including studies in law and sustainability. That diverse background shapes her view of ESG. “For me, ESG is about responsibility: for the choices we make, the people affected by those choices and the world we leave behind.” ESG touches almost everything we do, from energy use, materials, waste and emissions to safety, wellbeing, human rights and responsible business conduct. It is also reflected in everyday choices: how carefully we use materials, how openly we communicate, how we treat one another and how willing we are to improve. The ESG team can connect topics and support colleagues, but real progress happens across the entire organisation: on the shop floor, in the office and within every team. As Gloria puts it: “ESG belongs to everyone at Sif. By working together with a clear purpose, we turn challenges into progress.” 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗳’𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?

  • 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗮'𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗳 👩💼 Mariska Fletcher started her career at Sif in 1989, when she was just 19 years old. After her interview, she was able to start the very next day. She joined the Work Preparation department as an assistant, supporting various teams, including Welding Engineering, Production Control, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. At the time, computers had only just begun to make their way into the workplace. Mariska still remembers typing welding procedures on large A3 sheets. Her curiosity and eagerness to understand Sif’s products and processes helped her develop a broad range of technical knowledge. She learned to read technical drawings, regularly visited the factory floor and contributed to the implementation of Sif’s ISO 9001 quality management system. She later moved into Project Management and became involved in Sif’s first monopile projects. From there, she continued her career within Quality and Certification, initiating and helping to develop, together with John Goessens, a digital system for compiling as-built documentation and registering essential production and quality information. Mariska progressed from Certification Engineer to Supervisor and eventually to Manager As-Built Documentation, ensuring that the documentation behind every product met the required quality standards and was delivered on time. Today, she is Manager DCC and Process Improvements. In this role, she leads the Document Control team, coordinates planning and resources, supports her colleagues and works on improving procedures and processes across the organisation. She also carries out internal audits and helps colleagues where needed by sharing her experience and knowledge. Her advice to new colleagues is clear: “Talk to your colleagues who have knowledge and experience. Listen carefully to what they have to offer. They often already have valuable ideas and solutions to the challenges you encounter.” #Sif #WeMakeSif

Before new technologies can be applied offshore, however, they first need to be thoroughly tested. The L-flange is a proven connection technology, and ongoing innovations continue to extend its lifetime and application for larger wind turbines. At the same time, the C1 Wedge connection is gaining interest within the monopile design community as a potential successor for future, larger turbines. Following extensive discussions with Siemens Gamesa and C1 Connections, Euskal Forging Group and Sif will now jointly assess the manufacturability of the C1 Wedge connection. A test ring has already been forged at Euskal Forging’s new facility in Sestao and will be machined after the summer holiday period. Sif will then weld the connection to a tubular section and evaluate the behaviour of the flange during the welding process. By the end of the year, Euskal Forging and Sif expect to have further strengthened their knowledge of the manufacturability and welding behaviour of the C1 Wedge connection.
